I first went to musically yours to get my Yorkvilles Repaired as advised by a Yorkville Rep. The speakers were repaired to OEM spec in addition to resolving other outstanding issues that I had no prior knowledge about. Eddie was clear in what he was suggesting but more importantly more focused on resolving the issues and addressing my need. My experience was soo great I asked them for some advise on what sub woofers I should purchase. Taking into consideration my tops, they advised me the best sub i could afford at the time. I purchased 2 LS801s on the spot.
Few years past and as our company grew, so did the needs. We had a huge job which needed some crank stands that I purchased online because A - i was trying to save money and B i didn't think anyone locally would have this in stock. After purchasing two stands and upon receiving them , we realized one stand was defective and I was not going to have one in time if someone shipped it to me and get my job done.
After speaking to the supplier - I was told Musically Yours had one in stock and that I maybe able to swap out my bad one in exchange for the good one they had in stock if the Manger approved it. Musically yours not only helped me troubleshoot my original stand but when it was deemed to be a defective piece - they gave me a brand new one they had. Now this might have been a 1 off situation but the underlying point here is that the owner and staff at Musically Yours truly cared about the customers need and went the extra mile to make things happen when other stores have a more of a hands off approach. Most stores would say " you didn't buy it from me - its not my problem"- Trust me I called a store in NY and thats what I got.
I recently needed 2 MORE crankstands and Duratruss themselves did not have it in stock and all other companies who were "selling" them were planning on drop shipping. They would not have been able to accommodate - Musically yours delivered YET AGAIN. I was able to get my job done thanks to these guys. Yes the stands were sold to me at the end of the day but while going through the motions and trying to see what options I may have - Edson, Tesla or Eddie NEVER batted and eye or took anything else but getting the job done into consideration.
These guys are genuine, hard working, transparent in their business practice and well informed. Don't let the "small" storefront fool you - Musically Yours is more capable than alot of other stores not because of what they stock - but more importantly the distance they are willing to go in order to provide a solution. (they also stock EVERYTHING - that is just the cherry on top and besides the point)

Read moreI rented from here once and had a decent experience considering the circumstances I rented a speaker package of 2 tops and 2 subs and a couple mics. They tested everything when I picked it up so I felt confident there was no need to double check anything. When I arrived to sound check at the venue to setup one speaker power cord they provided had a broken off connector inside of it. All the speakers they provided had all connections so no worries because I had spare cable fixed that issue. Next the mic wasn’t working it kept cutting out every couple minutes. When I returned the equipment the next day. I explained what happened and the person I rented with told me on my next rental they would look out for me because of the inconvenience. Fast forward to yesterday I visited to set up a rental for a wedding I have coming up and I explain what I was told last time sure enough the guy I dealt with was not present but and older Spanish speaking gentleman proceeded to call me a liar and say it’s impossible the equipment didn’t work. No problem let’s discuss what I came here for but no he continued to state that he checks everything personally taking my statement about the issue personally. I moved on and tried to still conduct business with them and I was assisted by another rep while he kept trying to interact with me. The other guy assisted me and tried to apologize for his coworker so I booked my rental. I typically like to support local businesses but after my experience here I will be cancelling my booking and I don’t think I will be getting my rentals here...
