I was in a party of three with my older sister and my sister-in-law. We came probably around 6:30 about 30 minutes to close on 3/25/22. We originally wanted a fill-in and three pedicures we were informed by one of the staff members that the fill-in wasn’t going to be possible to do because we came but the pedicures were possible since we came 30 minutes prior to closing time which I understood. A younger black woman was in the shop and then about 10 minutes afterwards three more people came into the shop it was a mother and her two daughters. i’m not sure if the owners knew the mother but her daughter was there to get a fill-in and we were just told that a fill in was gonna be too long to do so they weren’t going to be doing it but I didn’t say anything because we were already getting pedicures so it wasn’t like we weren’t being serviced. My only issue was what why did you allow this woman to come in 6:40 ish and her daughter was allowed to get a fill-in my sister in law was not? They also started doing the mom’s nails and allowed her younger daughter to get her nails and feet a painted as well. We still ended up in the facility past closed we didn’t leave until 7:30. One of the nail techs was working with the younger black woman who was there before us and in the middle of my service I all of a sudden am hearing raised voices and she’s going back-and-forth with her client basically mad that the client is questioning her and how she’s performing the services and I didn’t even hear the girl with her question but the nail tech blew up at her saying that if she didn’t trust her why ask her specifically to do her nails. The middle aged woman doing my sister-in-law’s nails tried to go over to diffuse the outburst with no avail. From that point on my experience was very uncomfortable and then the younger black girl commented “this is why we need our own nail salons so we don’t have to deal with this” I suppose referring to being verbally attacked for asking questions about a service she’s paying for. One of the men in the shop laughed and said “Good luck with that.” The younger woman comments “Excuse me, What’s that supposed to mean” neither one of the techs commented any further and began having a conversation in their native language. The atmosphere was very tense. The younger woman stops the tech from fully finishing the service and I suppose took her business elsewhere. The nail tech then went on talking about the situation saying if she doesn’t trust her then don’t get your nails done at the establishment and said “I don’t want your money go somewhere else.” After this person has already left I understand that being asked questions about your service may be frustrating but showing restraint and composure in the workplace is key. I didn’t feel particularly welcomed in there after that whole fiasco as a person with a darker complexion myself and was ready to leave but had to wait for my sister and sister-in-law to get their services completed. I was visiting from out of town although my nail tech I didn’t get her name but she had a pixie cut with highlights was very compassionate and gentle her husband seemed kind as well. Definitely had Bad experience before at nail salons but by far this was the worst I’m going to be honest the lady who did my manicure and pedicure was very sweet but clearly was not taught how to do things correctly I came in for a dip and a regular pressure started on my pedicure first and then went onto the dip process which took a very long time and I’ve never waited that long for a dip process to be done had to wait for it to dry also never had to put under UV light I know that’s only for gel not for dip did it plenty in many of times before never had it done also was told that I should’ve started the dead process first then go to the pedicure come back and finish the dip I wasn’t shocked when I heard that but still went along with it that was my fault But I know that when you use dip it lasts for a while and does not chip gel does quicker this started to chip one week after I’ve had it done it is completely worse on my right hand and also the nail shape is terrible for this and for a pedicure regular pedicure cost me $90 I was going to call to complaint but I just had a feeling that they wasn’t going to take care of it and probably blame me for it so I just decided not to knowing that if they can’t perform a good dip process there not gonna provide good customer service The last dip process I had stood on for two months without chipping ‘cause I was in the process of moving never had an issue with it this chipped after seven days i’ve noticed all the nail salons in Davenport do not know how to perform good services Will definitely be driving further...

I’m new in the Orlando/Davenport area and I went here for the first time the first set they did was ugly but I didn’t wanna complain because it was late when I got home and I looked at my toes it look like a kid did my toes and then my nails wasn’t any better one nail was crooked and all of them were different style of coffin I then contacted the manager who told me to come in and she claim the nail look like that because of my finger she did not take it off and redo it and I showed the style I wanted and she didn’t follow it either she did her own thing but now 1 week and 2 days and this is what they look like on one hand 3 fell off and one fell on the other oh and not only that but I get an overlay on my toe and that fell off 3 days later I will not be coming back I’m so disappointed and I paid 140 dollars for a set that didn’t even last 2 weeks.

PSA: if that is how you talk to your customers that is ridiculous and ma’am it has not been 3 weeks so let’s try that again and no you did not fix it once you did what you wanted to do you knew that those nails were crooked and yet you still painted over them and didn’t take them off and redo them have better customer service and do the job right and I wouldn’t have complaint and if u want to see my bank statement so you can see it hasn’t been 3 weeks I’ll be more than happy to show you so...
