Hobby Lobby — Local services in Haines City

Summer, the store manager, is rude, disrespectful, and a liar that should be fired and replaced immediately! After waiting for almost 2 hours to purchase a Christmas item that was on the sales floor, Summer told me that I couldn't purchase the item because it belongs to a customer that was no where in sight for almost 2 hours of me standing next to the item waiting to purchase it. After almost 2 hours of waiting, Summer's mom showed up to purchase the item, and Summer called the police because I was recording myself speaking with her. Officer, Anliker, was very nice and professional, and he pulled Summer to the side to tell her that I wasn't doing anything wrong by recording because it's not against the law! Summer told the officer that I needed to be trespassed from her store because she didn't want me to record her rudeness, lies, disrespect, and unprofessionalism, but I can shop at any other Hobby Lobby! Summer stated that her District Manager, Mr. Ross told her to call the nice officer also, but she never told or asked me to leave the store before calling the officer! I won't shop at any Hobby Lobby stores going forward because I don't agree with individuals like Summer having a job in leadership! This was the last time I wil waste time at Hobby Lobby! Additionally, a cashier was very nice and tried to apologize for the way Summer treated me! People like her should be in leadership running a store, and people like Summer...

I had made a promise to myself to never set foot in a hobby lobby or to endorse them. Mainly due to the fact that they're corporate radical Christianity makes some of their policies/rules/laws seem a bit less than understanding or compassionate.

Especially when it comes to the LGBTQIA+ community, I feel it personally and through my life I intentionally boycotted and I made all necessary attempts and adjustments to avoid this literal dumpster fire whose known for the upholding the worst of horrible decisions that come through the Christians or Catholics Anonymous meetings.

Alas, we can't escape our own fate, eventually the piper catches up and we've all got time to make things right and prepare what we have to deal with. I

I've said ALL of this to say that even tho I should boycott it forever more, I was truly shocked and in awe at the amount of different products available. I'm an avid crafter of multiple different mediums and I love learning and trying new things. I have spent so much time in Michael's, JoAnn and the like, that I was swooning at the very realistic prices.

I have let my elders lead me astray, like hella odd for them to make such a big deal about Hobby Lobby when it is Heaven on Earth to me.

More variety, more products, better quality, cheaper prices, minimal lines and waiting.

I went in to pick up one item. I found it. The manager on duty was close by. I needed a flat cart for the one item. The manger called for a staff member to meet me. The staff member was great, friendly and funny cracking jokes oh now you need them, and you need that to go with what I was getting. He was doing it in a fun way.

The staff always makes it a fun and great experience..they Staff member even help me get the large item in my Jeep and high fived me before he headed back in.. The Staff member and the on duty mgr. Were totally awesome and had a great since humor.

Love the store and staff. Always find great sales and stuff we are looking for as we are decorating our new home.

Fun fact tip; always have plenty of money because you will leave with more than you went in to get.

But this visit I knew what I was there for found it, picked it up and got help and out the door in 10 minutes or less.

Normally I am in the store for 2-3 hrs, so much to look at, at...
