I would have left NO STARS but that's not an option.
Review of Pozner's Planet Obstacles
I took my kids to Pozner's Planet Obstacles for the first time today, as they were excited to try the new trampoline park. While the facility itself seemed promising with attractions like trampoline basketball hoops, our experience was disappointing due to poor management and lack of parent supervision.
Upon arrival, we paid for a two-hour time frame and headed inside. The basketball area, which my son was eager to try, was quite crowded. Unfortunately, a group of unsupervised teenagers was sitting on the bench, hoarding the basketball and refusing to share with the kids patiently waiting for their turn. When I kindly asked one of the teens if they could share since they weren’t actively playing, I was met with blatant disrespect. The teen outright refused and spoke to me rudely.
I noticed there were no attendants monitoring the basketball area. Concerned, I went to the front desk and asked if someone could supervise, explaining the situation. As I returned, I saw the same teen instigating a confrontation with my son, which quickly escalated into shoving.
At the time an attendant showed up and called the supervisor which he quickly arrived and addressed the teens, I explained to the supervisor what happened and he admitted that this group of unsupervised teens were causing issues earlier as well. The supervisor asked them to step away and give others a turn. However, just ten minutes later, the same teens returned to the area, causing further disruption. The attendant on duty admitted they couldn’t enforce the supervisor’s instructions to keep the teens out of the area.
The situation became increasingly frustrating. My son was upset, the teens continued being disrespectful (one even called me a vile name), and it became clear that the lack of management was allowing this behavior to persist. Rather than risk further escalation, I decided it was best to leave early.
I requested a refund, explaining we had only been there for 30 minutes and that the environment was not conducive to a safe or fun experience. I was initially offered a pass to return, which I declined since I have no plans to revisit a facility that is so poorly managed. Eventually, I received a partial refund.
For years, I’ve taken my kids to Skyzone in Lakeland and have NEVER encountered issues like this. Parents should not have to step in to enforce basic rules at a place meant for family fun. The lack of supervision and disregard for customer concerns at Pozner’s Planet Obstacles was shocking. It’s only a matter of time before such negligence leads to more serious incidents.
I strongly urge management to:
Have attendants monitor all areas consistently. Enforce policies to ensure fair play and prevent disruptive behavior. Require parents of teens to supervise or be held accountable for their behavior.
Until these changes are implemented, I can not...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. I have had my sons birthday parties at the Lake Mary location several times and had a great time. This year we went to the new Davenport location for a birthday and is was a horrible experience overall. The location is much smaller with less attractions, but the party price was the same. A simple pink table cover, and 3 baloons are included in the $375 party package. From arriving and not being escorted to the table for 20 minutes while others were checking in, to specifically advising who was included on the guest list and advising other additional guests were being paid for by each parent...and being charged after I left for guests that were NOT on the list. The manager said "someone has to pay for it" when i called to inquire why I was charged again. The party package is 2 hours and on the dot of the party end time, people were sent out to specifically kick each child off the trampoline...it was the only similar location I have ever seen be so strict and quick with end time....especially for a relatively empty location. We were gathering everyone to get off, so sending a team out to seek them out seemed crazy strict to me. We ordered fries which came out cold, when requested to have them remade, the guy tried to charge me again saying "well I gave you a discount." I explained I wasnt paying again, but they needed to be remade. He had an attitude saying "fine I guess we can do that for you." Overall, I will be spreading the word to not have their parties here!! Horrible experience, venue, customer service and...
Read moreI took my daughter to this amusement center expecting a safe, family-friendly environment — but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. While the facility itself had potential, the lack of safety enforcement and poor customer service completely overshadowed any enjoyment.
During our visit, I was repeatedly hit with dodgeballs — despite not being in the designated area for that activity. It was uncomfortable, frustrating, and showed a clear lack of staff supervision or concern for guest safety.
When I attempted to address the issue, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead of coming out to speak with me directly, the manager sent a regular staff member in his place — completely disregarding my concerns. At no point did he make an effort to understand why I was upset or to take the situation seriously. It felt dismissive, unprofessional, and honestly disrespectful.
As a paying customer — and more importantly, as a parent — I expected basic communication, accountability, and care. Unfortunately, none of that was present. Until this location takes safety and customer concerns seriously, I cannot recommend it to...
