First Watch — Restaurant in Haines City

When these guys started opening in our area I checked out their menu and there was little I was willing to try but times have changed. They have a good foothold in the area now with multiple location. We were out early in the morning and I need to eat at regular times so we decided to give them a try. I checked their menu online first and they had several items that sounded good to me. They do an excellent farm fresh selection and some regular items too. I decided to try something a bit outside my comfort zone mostly because it looked good in the picture. I got the breakfast carnitas burrito minus the avocado. It came out looking fantastic and smelled great. From the first bite to the last it was the best burrito I have ever had. I should only have eaten half of it but it was too good, and it is the holiday season. I got some hot sauce as it was a burrito but the flavors were so good it did not need it. I did try a little and it did add to the flavor so either way a great choice. My companion got the Floridian french toast which was also great. Our server was extremely friendly and did a great job. All the employees were wearing masks and there was someone going around cleaning frequently touched surfaces. Prices were more reasonable than I expected and our meal was worth every penny. This one will be going in our rotation for when we go for breakfast, which does not...

I had to come back and lower the score on my favorite breakfast spot unfortunately. As I dug deep into the most delicious frittata I've ever had, I saw tomato. I specifically said NO TOMATO. Upon my discovery, I asked a nearby waitress to help me identify if it indeed was TOMATO. Which she replied: Yes, it looks like TOMATO to me and I remember seeing your order with no TOMATO..why? Do you have a food allergy? I actually felt myself beginning to tremble. She continued on....If you have an allergy you need to tell your server because we take extra precautions, I'll get the manager for you..and left....I'm not sure if I was trembling due to the allergy, anger, disgust or a combination of it all. I excused myself to the restroom as the manager approached. Took some meds and came back out. I don't even think She apologized. She said she heard what happened. I said I just wanted to pay and leave and she said absolutely not. I'm shocked at the negligence. I wasn't aware I needed to disclose my medical history in a public place in order not to be nearly killed in a restaurant. Usually asking that something be removed is enough. Well whats one more dead black woman anyway...right? All this is to say, eat here at your own demise. The food is delicious, but not...

We brought our family here, for the first time this pass Tuesday. We choose to sit outside because it was extremely cold inside and it was a nice breezy day out. We quickly noticed that All of the out side tables were wobbly and unbalanced, so unbalanced that anytime any of us moved our drinks would spill, my coffee had spilled all over the table, my husband squatted down trying to fix our table, we then realized that our table was warped and needed to be replaced. We explained to the waiters as two of them started bringing our food out to us and handing dishes of food with coffee spilled all over the table. I took my plate sat it on the empty table beside us an asked the waiters to please bring something to help us clean the mess it took them forever, finally the one waiter helped us. The other waiter came out and we telling us yeah all of the tables are like this from Hurricane Ian, so we couldn’t of switched tables if we wanted too. We were all so turned off! Then my son had a waffle and the batter was although the middle of it. My daughter ordered an egg Benedict it was plain not seasoned at all, none of the food was seasoned, grits, home fries none of it! That was our first time here and it’s safe to say maybe our last time...
