False advertisement (Defective Print)
Company is willing to sell products regardless of condition, to ensure sales quota. Store knowingly sold defective product. Online support will not own up to their mistake. Shameful. Will not return to Spencer's or shop online. No longer interested in seeking resolution to this issue.
Giving 1* because company will not own up to its own mistake and having to go back to their store to resolve issue of my own accord after having been told shirt has nothing wrong with it in the specified area. There are more defects in the shirt than listed in the email conversation below, however, I was only concerned with one major defect. If I could give 0*, I would for this review.
I shouldn't have to return to a store to resolve an issue regarding a defective print!

"The attachments include the receipt of purchase on Feb. 28, 2021, the shirt misprint, and a close-up of the flawed print area in question.
I can deal with the misprint under the armpit involving the middle finger, but the overlay over top the pointer finger is not something i would have paid for. I didn't think i would need to pay this close attention to something I was purchasing in your brick and mortar store. The print involving the design on this shirt has been in your store since March 8, of 2020, when I last looked or bought something in your store.
If this is how the shirt is supposed to look, it's false advertising because I also can send you the screenshot I pulled from your website if need be.
I spoke with someone from guest services and they mentioned the shirt was most likely out of stock online. They also mentioned a free shirt for the misprint. I have no idea what I would want.
If it's possible, I just want the shirt I paid for without the misprint in size XL (or XXL) if you have it, if not get back with me with what you can do."

We have pulled the call with the rep you have spoken with earlier and you were advised that if there is a misprint, we can offer a replacement. The rest of my experience today was cut short, as I left the store upset. Two other employees felt the need to follow me around the store the entire time, staring at my every move. Any time I looked up, one guy in particular was right behind me, and would quickly look away up at the ceiling or pretend to adjust things on the shelf until I moved on. Read moreI just want to say, I was at the mall about an hour ago and there was an active shooter situation and my friend & I ended up getting locked in spencer’s. The workers were amazing & acted quickly. There was a worker there (around 7pm on June 8th) with black & red hair and piercings, Im not sure what her name was but she was SO amazing & so sweet, comforting and calm. She deserves to be rewarded for the way she reacted and helped to keep people calm. So thankful for the workers for getting us out safely and staying calm. THANKYOU!!
