Edited to Add: After just two months, the stair nose that we initially had issues with is loose and sliding off the steps. I'm not sure if the wrong glue had been used or what. Customer service seems to be non-existent. My husband will hae to reglue it but since they installed a piece that doesn't even fit my stairs properly I'm sure this issue isn't going to go away and is just something we will have to deal with.
Original Review: We received terrible customer service after the job was fully paid and we had observed issues. Our level of confidence in the attention to detail during installation is not very high. Initial customer service was excellent and we are otherwise happy with the quality of the product purchased, and the floors were laid nicely.
Flooring Install: The manufacturer of the flooring we ordered does not make the size stair nose needed to cover the entire stair tread. This was never communicated to us and the installation of the stair nose was left with exposed wood on the uncovered part of the tread that makes the job look incomplete. On another stair tread, this bare wood was smeared with white caulking as if to hide the fact that the stairnose did not cover it. Photos attached. They should have communicated the sizing issue to us so we could decide how the final installation should be handled, instead of it being left incomplete and sloppy looking.
We also needed a stair tread re-installed due to loose fit. Caulking around the steps has already separated after a few weeks and one of the risers appears to have cosmetic damage that was covered up that I only noticed after cleaning. Parts of the risers appear discolored and don't clean well where the installers used their fingers to swipe caulking or paint over the nail holes and covered the damaged areas. Also shown in photos.
After living with the flooring for several weeks, I am noticing where the LVP was installed on uneven subfloors. Despite them pouring self-leveler at my request, boards are still seen bouncing under our feet in this area. Hopefully these boards withstand the test of time.
Customer Service: We were initially very happy with customer service leading up to the project, however, once paid in full and issues were observed there was zero communication. I first communicated the issue with our stairs to our sales rep immediately after the job was completed, and the issue was pushed to their customer service department who basically ghosted me.
After 2+ weeks of me reaching out, I was finally able to get a hold of someone to schedule an inspection for the repairs needed, but the inspector was a no show. After being told they made a scheduling error and "are trying to squeeze me in," I never received confirmation that they weren't coming and there was no effort on their part to reschedule. I had to call back the next day to follow up. After the inspection, nobody called to schedule the agreed upon repairs. I called the store to schedule and, surprise, nobody could take my call. The first time anybody called me back was about 3 weeks after my initial complaint, and I was only offered to schedule the repair for the loose stair tread on Christmas Eve (extremely inconvenient for us but with a baby due in 3 weeks, we took the soonest availability they'd give us). I was told I would get a call back to schedule a second repair team to paint the bare stair treads white, but to this day that never happened, either. As a professional flooring installer, I would also think they'd have more solutions to offer than to paint the tread white - at the very least do a paint match to match the LVP so the risers appear to be the same size.
Overall the flooring looks nice but I would not use this company again as it seems the focus was to get the job done in one day instead of get the job done right...

Lastly, Manny. Many owners just come by to pick up the check. Manny was available all the time. Period.
