the reviews certainly paint an inconsistent picture but I can only speak to my own experience...
My laptop kicked the bucket (would not power on) and I took it in, they were able to pull some files off of it onto a flash drive - files which were absolutely essential to me - I made a second trip after the first go-round and requested additional files; one of the techs had to go back to the warehouse where it was all packed up to be shipped out for repairs, and unpackage it to extract more of the data - I felt bad making them do that but he did so cheerfully (and it was near their closing time, too.) the communication throughout the process was also prompt and made sense. Read moreI took my computer there and they said the battery has expanded and they could not read the driver to get my files off of it. He said do you want me to put the battery back I said no. He said I can just recycle the computer for you I said no I will take it. The computer turned right on without being plugged in so I guess he never even looked at the battery. I took it home and was able to reset the computer myself. They lied right to my face. I know nothing about computers and was able to reset the computer. They are a disgrace that they would take advantage of someone like that. It is very sad. If they don’t want to do their job they shouldn’t be there....
