Unfortunately I must report that I am extremely disappointed in this business. First let me point out that the individuals who own this business do extremely well. They are a well to do business minded couple that own and operate 3 of these gift shop type boutiques in the Tri State region. We were told first hand by the owners brother that his sister makes a killing owning these stores. My reason for sharing this piece of information is to not confuse these business owners with super genuine LOCAL business owners who live, eat & breath in Butler County almost daily. Sadly after complaining to a manager that I was very dissatisfied with a product that I previously purchased I was curtly told there would be no refund or exchange. I do not care how large or small a purchase is; if a consumer is dissatisfied a retailer should attempt to retain their business. After my request and thorough explanation I was told there was nothing that could be done and was rudely told to pass the item onto another individual???? I had picked up a few other items to purchase that day anticipating some kind of exchange but sadly I put the Nora Fleming & Cherry Republic items down and decided NOT to proceed with any future purchases. I have since found other local stores in the area that directly support families in Hamilton, OH with much better customer service and will frequent those boutiques often and regularly. FYI the owner Debbie was notified that we were upset and chose to...
Read moreI am disappointed and gagged by my experience in this store. I was calmly shopping and showing genuine interest in the stores products. I was scolded and undermined REPEATEDLY for simply browsing products that I did want to buy. I would like to stay on this topic of this womanâs treatment towards me. Her demeanor, tone and words were intentionally loaded with disrespect and was inappropriately condescending. I am genuinely disgusted on how I was treated not only as a customer but a person. This leads to the question what type of person and morals do you have to speak and behave that way to a stranger that you hope to support your business, and in her words her business is âhow I feed my familyâ. Those words should have never been spoken to me. She was attempted to guilt me, not sure whyâŚmaybe thatâs how she has gotten sales before but that tactic absolutely does not work on me. I am unsure why she decided to speak to me in this way considering I was respectfully shopping and she approaching me only to weave her way to guilt me. I immediately walked out. She spoke to me like I was a child and for someone like me, who is a caregiver that was outrageous because I donât speak to children with disrespect.
I would say this experience and treatment is âbeyond meâ for figure of speech however this was...
Read moreI first shopped at Fleurish Home in Hamilton when I was considering chalk painting my kitchen cabinets. I saw that they sold Annie Sloan paint so I decided to visit. I love this store. It's warm and extremely inviting. I met Kate, one of the employees and she shared her experiences with chalk painting. With some great tips from Kate I decided to paint my kitchen cabinets. We are still in the process and they look fabulous. I went to get more paint this past Saturday. Kate was working and as always she was so helpful. I love the personal attention you get from Fleurish Home employees. The only problem is I can't seem to get away from there without buying other things besides paint. Love, love, love this store. I would recommend...
