Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Haring Township

I couldn't have been more disappointed. I walked into the store maskless. I knew exactly what I wanted, and was in check out in less than 3 minutes. No one was in line. The cashier asked if I had a mask, I said no, I do not wear them. And she told me she could not ring me up unless I was wearing one. She offered to give me one that she had under the counter, I declined her offer respectfully. She said "I will not ring your order until you put a mask on, even for 5 seconds, you won't wear a mask?" I said, "no", i offered to put the frozen food back and she grabbed my cart and said "ugh, no, I got it". I did not go in looking for a fight, and I did not and will not become antagonistic, but I will act within my rights. I would like Gordons foods to know that your employees do not know everyone's story and quite frankly do not need to know their story. If they arent wearing a mask, its probably for a good reason. I would also point out, the cashier did not offer curbside pickup or over the phone orders. Always used to be that the store was phenomenal. I would come in to get extra supplies for the business and things would be great. I would get the help I needed right away. Just left a few minutes ago feelin so frustrated I think I will be taking an hour extra my next trip. No one was really helpful. As I stared to fill my cart I couldn't find several products I needed started looking for someone. Finally did they werent really very helpful. Couldnt help me with a regular product that I buy. Didn't offer to help me with the rest of the stuff I needed. They seemed to concerned with their conversation with another employee. My sales Rep John does a great job and I have purchased stuff from here several times for catering large events, never had an issue before today otherwise it would...

Sometimes you can get deals but most of the time it's more expensive than any other place. But the people who work here seem to not know what they are doing. It's like 1 person knows what they are doing so you have to wait for that 1 person to know what to do. Not to mention last year I watched how rude the cashier was to an eighty year old who said he was a veteran and couldnt breathe with a mask on and the cashier told him he couldn't shop here.
