I contacted the store through an email to ask if they accepted EBT as a form of payment and if they had a specific baby formula in stock. They responded the next day and I love the fact that they do accept EBT and they do have the organic baby formula. Baby’s Only Toddler Formula is the brand and be aware that the label says “toddler” the manufacturer claims that this is only because they suggest breastfeeding for babies under 1 year old. It has nothing to do with ingredients, and its suitable for newborns. Baby’s Only Organic Dairy Formula has some of the best organic ingredients on the formula market. They stay true to the strict standards of organic regulations and don’t take any shortcuts to save money or time for their customers. So because this formula can be used from day one until well into toddler years without having to worry about different stages of formula. The store carries 3 different kinds as far as right now; dairy with DHA/ARA, lactose sensitive, and a soy plant based one. I want to try the whey one with DHA/ARA because it’s closest to breastmilk but their distributors don’t carry that one as far as right now. So if you want to get your baby a good organic formula then go with Baby’s Only and get it from here if you don’t want to order it online. You can even order cases of the ones they do carry and they come in cases of six, you just have to prepay for them in store. Maybe if they sell more baby formula, their distributors will get the whey version of the formula for store stock! They were extremely friendly and their store is small but really organized...
Read moreSuch a wonderful place to shop, all the essential goods you need can be found here the employees are always very helpful and polite to the customers...but recently I've realized a change in the way the employees interact with each other, recently this week Monday, I saw three employees all working on something in the same area but they weren't communicating with each other all just doing their own things within a 10 minute span they were asked twice what they were doing when it seemed pretty clear they were all working on something, and you could just see the whole mood change in all of them as soon as they got asked the second time what they were doing again they were all doing their own things but within close proximity of each other and the whole time not a word was said between them. I had a few things to pick up today and went in and none of the employees were around each other and they almost looked scared to talk to one another.
It made me sad to see because this is a place I really enjoy going to but it seems as if the employees are not allowed to communicate with one another without the fear of being questioned, almost like they are suppose to be robots or zombies working together but not communicating, would love for the warming environment to be back and see the employees actually smiling and enjoying their time at work.
Still a great store will continue to go there just wanting to put out there that it's a job they are suppose to enjoy their job not be mute and just coexisting amongst each other, this is how places lose...
Read moreFirst of all not everyone but some of the younger ones look like its a bother to even ring you up. They need to go to Trader Joes and learn to have a personality, I have been going to choices for years so it is not the old timers I am talking about. Unless products are on sale it sad that I have to shop elswhere for the same products that have the lower price all the time. You can for example find Amy's soups at Woodman's- Meyers and Schnucks for the price lower than your regular non sale price. I bought Lavendar oil in a hurry for a need and after the fact I seen at Schnucks I could of gotton the Organic Version of the Now Lavendar oil at Schnucks for the same if not lower price that I paid for for the Now Lavendar ( Non Organic) at choices. So to clarify- I paid $4-5 dollars more for the non organic at Choices and could of gotton the same one at Schnucks for less. Basically if items are not on sale- I do not buy unless it is fresh produce and that other than greens is sometimes...
