March 28th 2025 - I return to the store just to check out some things. Yes the prices are low. But if you purchase the $12 headphones. Good luck they don't work. And you can't return them or exchange them. So I'm out with my money. The store is now 0 -5 with me. I was told directly by the manager that they don't take headsets back like that. Just bad quality. Maybe your kids will love it. Or maybe not.
First time finally getting to this store. First thing you notice the prices are very low. Which is great. I see a lot of workers just staying around not doing much. Not asking people if they need any help. But mostly I in every customer in the place and make sure they don't do not steal. Which is interesting because sales means to sell not to watch. As I got to the register I noticed there's a camera staring at you and high definition. I find this a little bit invasive. Read moreThe products and clothing offered is 5 stars. However the experience I just had at this location is completely unacceptable. I've went to multi primarks in various areas and have visited the Concord location multiple times. I've even brought new customers to the Concord location.
Apparently do not buy the reusable bags that Primark has at the check out lanes as they will then pinpoint you as stealing the next time you go to that location and start shopping with. If Primark doesn't want us to use the bags that THEY OFFER to shop that needs to be displayed at both locations. Primark also needs to have some sort of sticker indicator/ stamp if they can't tell the difference between bags that you've already sold and what's not purchased yet. I got targeted on 3 separate occasions in the same setting as potentially stealing. When I used bags that was previously purchased and provided by Primark.
Unacceptable experience not only is it difficult being a person of color in this country but to be targeted using the system that Primark put in place...
Read moreUPDATE: I contacted Primark customer service and gave a detailed account of my experience. Primark simply responded that my feedback has been provided to the store. I have not been contacted by the store with an apology or explanation as of today. This level of customer service is simply bizarre to me. Wondering how long this store and the corporation will survive.
I was super excited about the store opening but was hugely disappointed. The event was disorganized with zero transparency to event details. Especially regarding gift cards, I asked several team members about handing out gift cards and no one knew whether or not there would be any. Also, the team members were very rude when answering my questions. I also talked with a couple contractors (people with the contractor badge) working for the event and they were very unfriendly as well. I felt prejudice and discrimination from one contractor who showed extreme discrimination and malice toward me when I asked him about today’s event details.
