I renewed my membership today. I am an executive member for almost 25 years. I finally added my daughters but they do not let you put it on your executive membership for the 2% return. I know at one point they did. I have started having the issue with Costco about if I need it and I know a few that do not. I paid the $135 for executive and $65 for my daughters so the total was $190. My check this year was $155. for my 2%. We run to Costco for everything and I think how much would be saved if We did not have it. Costco is a staple for so many, they have large selections, but if you do not get it when you see it, it will not be here when you come back. I would say if you like the place join and buy, if you are questioning do you need it , then I would say check out a day pass but it will not let you buy anything.

I have been shopping here for years. People are stable as I see lots of familiar employees, store is well organized and always clean. I like the isles that don’t say what is in them and typically walk down every isle. There are usually new items sporadically placed. I used to eat at the food court because it all tastes great and the value is unbelievable, however nothing is healthy. The people soliciting phone contracts near the entrance makes people avoid that area but you just have to say no and move on. I will continue to buy large quantities of good things from Costco. The premade meals are so good, tacos, peppers stuffed with ground beef, meatloaf and mashed, salmon, premade wraps. The cookies they make are so good.

I have been going to Costco since it opened around 95-96. I love it! The prices have gone up since then. It is still the best place to get your dollars worth. The line in front of me was about ½ of what was behind me. It stretched out past the tire shop. 3 minutes before opening. Lots of little old ladies needing help, today. Do what's right, and give them a hand when they are struggling with the big, heavy stuff. Costco is now opening at 9am for people who have an Executive membership!

EDIT...March2025. Stopped in this AM at opening. Needed things where I had no idea where they were and I could not find them. One was some ladies stretch pants our daughter wanted as she has no Costco near her. I finally gave up and went to the front to ask for help as my wife weally wanted me to get these. Cecelia was assigned to assist me and wow she did a great job. She found the pants and she went through every box stacked up there looking for what my wife needed. Never found them but he tried. She asked what else I needed and I said I'd buy what I was collecting then take them to the truck and come back for 10 bags of Raised Bed Miracle Bed Soil. She said she'd get them on a cart and leave them up front. She could see me limping and took pity on my, for which I was grateful for. Got up front and made sure to sing her praises to the front desk. Paid for it all and said I'd be back in after offloading the basket unless someone was available to assist. I got to my truck and realized I had to pull it forward some from the Disabled spot as I could not open the tailgate. This meant pulling out partially blocking the aisle. All of the sudden a gentleman, looking like maybe a manager, placed the large cart behind me and said "here you go." No offer to help at all. Due to some physical issues I was having a hard time but I finally got it done. Went back in and again thanked them Cecelia and then told them the guy was brought the large cart filled with heavy bags was no help at all. They asked who and when I pointed him out as he was nearby you could see the employee was intimidated so I knew he had to be a boss, So Cecelia. You're the best. Unnamed boss. Do better. Updating my 5 year old review. Was there today and boy did I pick the wrong day. Friday, JMU grad week and so on meaning families needed to shop. When I need to check-out the line was as far back as it could possibly go. But I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick we actually moved. This is not the first time I've seen this and management and employees deserve the recognition. Parking lot here though is a .PITA but certainly not the...

I think I've said it before but maybe not in detail, it saves you money on gas and wear and tear on your car when you buy things in bulk, but I have broken it down to where I added up price per ounce or price per pound, and even if I only need one of something since I'm at Costco anyway and they have it in bulk I'll go ahead and get the pack of four that they sell instead of just buying one, but then I added up the price and if I bought four of that item at walmart, it would be the exact same product and still be cheaper at Walmart, I just can't stand the crowds and not being able to get to a register and getting in and out of the store at a place like Walmart and they're not as personal there as they are at costco, if a person at Costco doesn't know exactly where something is, they won't just send you on a wild goose chase, they will get the information and find out where you need to go to find what you want in the store and if you can't find it, a Costco employee will actually walk you all the way to where you want to go to find what you need! And there are certain products that Costco carries that is better quality! For as little as I go out shopping it's kind of expensive when you're paying just to be a member when you only get a couple of things a month from there, but it's nice to be able to go to get gas at a place that is the most inexpensive place price per gallon in the...

I just got the costco membership and their service is awsome. First, my husband got his prescribed lenses there. They have a wide selection of brand name lenses like Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ray ban for a fraction of the price of other stores walmart, myEyeDr, etc. We got estimates from those places and with the same features he was able to get Gucci lenses at Costco for way less amount of money. Today, we were there to check my car's tire's air pressure and they did it for free. They have fair price on their products, the quality is great, and we find specialty items that we haven't been able to buy in other grocery stores such as prosciutto de Parma and Manchego and Iberico cheeses, their meat selection is also worth mentioning since we really enjoy a good filet mignon or a rib eye steak at home and you can find these at a reasonable price here, keeping in mind that these are kind of expensive cuts.We are just a household of two so we don't usually go there for a week to week grocery shopping because even though they have smaller packages, most of their products are sold in bulks. However, anytime we have bought at Costco has been a pleasent experience overall. I really...
