2 big issues, if I could give zero stars I would. 1) The sound system is absolutely the worst I have heard in any public arena. All of this money to build this facility and they couldn't invest in at least a halfway decent public address system? We attended a graduation and everyone around us complained that they could not understand those who were speaking. The echo was outrageous and the sounded out of phase. Absolutely horrific! 2) Charging $3.25 for a 20oz bottle of water they could surely afford to buy a better sound system. Even in New York City I don't pay that much for water. I thought this was supposed to be a decent school, but the engineers who designed the sound system need to go back to school! But please,...
Read moreWent to see men's basketball game there on 2/23/23. This arena is nice! Just about every seat in the place has great views of the main floor. The only negative I noticed is be careful if your seats are in the lower corners like 105. The row I was sitting in, the seats go from baseline facing seats to sideline facing seats halfway through the row. This makes some tight leg spacing for the 2 seats where the facing difference occurs. Luckily there was open seats next to me so it wasn't a problem. The video screens above the court are great and the imaging is clear. All in all I loved the place and the atmosphere inside the arena...
Read moreParking was confusing. Prices for mediocre food were ridiculous. I asked them about the veggie dog, what it was made of and what did it look like and the guy at the register said he didn't know because he had never seen it. The handful of fries for $4 were cold and undercooked. The ushers were like hawks, not allowing you to exit through certain sections to use the restroom, giving bad advice about where to go when the game ended. Just a terrible fan experience. Seats on lower level were very hard to see from. Sound system was way too loud to understand what the guy was saying. Not impressed with this new...
