James Madison University Mineral Museum — Attraction in Harrisonburg

As a person who is FASCINATED with crystals and rocks, this collection was soooo amazing! I mean I see reviews saying people drove 2 hours, no. If that's the ONLY thing you're coming for. But the area has so many activities!! So when you're in the area add it to your list. I am so amazed at what our earth produces. Although this collection resides in only one room, they have a large amount of specimens to enjoy. Each one provides a tag with the location of origin and type of mineral. They are divided by type.
