The customer service in this location is awful. We went in to buy a paddle board, about $400. Asked the guy if they had any more than what was on display. He was good, he pulled one out of the storage unit in the back, and he looked for the one with the least amount of damage, though it still had huge scrapes on the side. While waiting for about 20 minutes, not one person asked if we needed help. I saw several cashiers hanging out talking near the store entrance into the mall. All of the employees were more concerned with their headsets than their customers. They took $20 off of the $400 paddle board because of the damage. Had to ask 2 people to get someone to put it on top of our car, that should have been offered for such a large item. The guy who helped load it onto the car said he'd be back with scissors to cut off the bag of parts, and never came back. I went back into the store and asked for scissors after about 10 minutes, the cashier said "these aren't the best." I brought them back inside and said thank you, and she either didn't respond or did so under her breath. I don't know what has happened to customer service. I'm on the verge of lugging the board back to the store just for spite. Worst experience in retail ever. Will not go back, I don't know why anyone...

I had one of the best retail experiences in a long time at this location. The store itself was well-stocked and organized, but what really made my visit exceptional were the amazing staff.

Michael (Mike), the manager, was hands down the most personable, professional, and helpful retail associate I’ve encountered in quite a while. He went above and beyond to help me find what I needed, answered all my questions, and even carried one of my heavier items to my car — without me even having to ask. That level of service is rare these days and truly appreciated.

At checkout, Robin at the register was an absolute delight. She was so sweet, friendly, and enjoyable to talk to, making the entire transaction easy and pleasant.

I was visiting Harrisonburg from Atlanta and needed new running sneakers due to a toe injury. It took less than a minute of me looking at the selection before Ashley came over to ask if I needed assistance - which I did, since my PT said to choose Brooks or Asics. Ashley walked me through the different types of both brands and brought out several for me to try on.
