We stopped here before exploring the general store nextdoir. We were on the hunt for a maple creamee and this place had it, so we grabbed a maple bourbon creamee and a traditional maple creamee and took them outside to enjoy on a nearby bench. The place also sells a variety of food option options, but sweets to sandwiches. Service wasn’t great as the person behind the counter hardly smiled - they were very much just “going through the motions.” I’m not sure if they have a seating area, but the place is very small so I wouldn’t think so. There are benches outside to lounge on though, and it’s next to a doggy daycare/groomer, so it’s a great place to see pups as well! Overall, this satisfied our maple creamee fix (it was the first one we ever tried) and it was enjoyable.

This is a must stop if you are in the area but also worth a road trip. It was hard to choose which delicious sandwich to enjoy. They offer a lovely selection that would appeal to all dietary needs. The BLT and egg salad won today. All fresh local ingredients. The bread, tomatoes and lettuce were so fresh. The milkshake disappeared so quickly, it was sooo delicious and their fresh ice tea excellent. Took a walk and then returned to top off the meal with a creemy. Congratulations Tina and Brad , your snack shack is a winner.

Stopped in for a quick lunch after church. Service was friendly and prompt. Portions were large enough that my daughter and I only finished half of ours. Prices were more than reasonable. The establishment was clean and cool. A welcome respite from the July heat. No table seats or bathrooms inside but both are found throughout the plaza. We will definitely be back in the future!

I don’t think I have ever left a bad review for a restaurant, as I understand everyone can have a bad day. But after our experience here, and reading other reviews, it’s seems the public needs to understand what to expect here: A rude, nasty guy at the counter and long waits for your food. The counter guy must be the owner because no boss would put up with his behavior, which clearly drives business away. After getting nasty when I asked a question about a sandwich that was on their menu, the establishment then got the order wrong, and husky counter man had the audacity to tell me I ordered it that way. Seriously. I did notice that he was much friendlier to locals who knew his name, so it seems he just doesn’t like visitors to his tourist town. Oh well, next time we travel through Queechee, we now know to go somewhere...

Service is terrible! Maybe we caught him on a bad day because even upon arrival, we were greeted with just a miserable face as he leaned on the counter. Unfortunately, we proceeded to order anyway and even left a tip. We specifically ordered maple lattes. When we saw him pouring from the pre-made coffee jug, we questioned why. His answer was "you ordered regular coffees. That's what you got. I heard you clearly!" When we told him that was not the case and we ordered the maple lattes he said "I disagree, have a nice day!"

We ate our sandwiches outside and eventually just left our full coffee cups.

Unfortunately for us, we had a bad experience with zero care for good...
