(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide-USA only-business clients, for travel and activity inspiration. Follow me for more! I’m a financial planner - CFP®️practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare®️) They really are living the dream! This a store with all sorts of items made out of alpaca fleece. Super soft and quite expensive. But these are luxury items or things you’ll make long term use of. The best part is the farm on the side towards the back. These animals look healthy and well taken care of. They are plenty friendly. We can feed them from the available pellets that are 25 cents a bug hand full. So much fun. I definitely recommend stopping here. It’s part of a larger shopping complex with candy, a Cabot cheese shop, antiques and gifts. Easily spend an hour. Right down the street is the Quechee Gorge, a most see if your mobile!

The alpacas are so cute and peaceful. You can feed them if you like. The woman in the store offered me a quarter to purchase the feed. The store is nice as well, it has an assortment of clothes and accessories made with alpaca fur.

Word of warning if you are allergic of dogs, afraid of dogs, or have small children then this isn't the place for you. They let their medium sized dog roam around the store, and it came up face to face with our 3 year child. We had no idea whose dog it was, and of course we didn't know whether it's friendly... At the absolute very least you should have a notice when you enter that tells you there is a dog that has free reign of the store, and appears to have free reign to go right up...

We recently stopped this adorable store while visiting Vermont. My family loved meeting the alpacas and learning more about them. The staff in the store we super helpful in providing information about their products. My husband and I each chose a pair of socks and have worn multiple times already. My kids each chose an alpaca stuffed animal and we grabbed a beautiful blanket to share (or not)! We will definitely stop by the next time we are...
