I don’t normally post reviews but my experience with the young man this morning left me very frustrated. Let me say I’ve had good service in the past with other staff here. This young man right off the bat did not have a pleasant demeanor. I was carrying a package that needed a label. He motioned to put it on the scale so I stated I just needed to print a label first. He then pointed to the computer. I asked for help in doing this as I am not familiar with Microsoft. He then rolled his eyes and did a tsk tsk. I then asked him if he was having a bad day and he responded with “no and don’t take out whatever’s going on with you on me”. I then stated I was only looking for help. He asked if I use Mac Pro and I said yes. He then asked me with a look of disdain on his face and a sarcastic tone if I knew what an email was. With that I walked away from him and called out to a woman in the back if she could help me. She was very pleasant. He went to the back of the store as I’m sure to complain to a fellow coworker. They were both laughing. I have 3 children ages 26 to 34 and if I ever caught them speaking to someone the way this young man did to me with such an impatient attitude and rudeness I would be very disappointed. Read moreI don't know what is going on in this store. I always have a terrible experience here, but this time it was over the top unprofessional & rude. They said I couldn't use the box I packed my items in, so I bought a box from them. Then I needed more bubble wrap so I bought that too. $15.00 for both. I began to pack my new box which at that point a young man came out from the back to unpack my original box & told me he would charge me $15.00 to do so. I didn't ask him to pack my box. I brought my own tape which I needed assistance with. He helped me. Then I needed to borrow sissors. The older woman at the counter with short grey hair gave me the scissors. Then she rudely said they were trying to work with me but she didn't like the fact that I needed help. I am a handicapped person & I didn't think that I was bothering them to ask for assistance, but apparently I was. Now a third person, younger woman who I have seen there before comes out to assist me. Again, has a bad attitude. I spent approximately $200 that day. To be treated with total disrespect is very intimidating & uncalled for. It's very apparent that none of the employers are happy in their jobs and not cut out for customer service. They don't greet you when you enter the store, not do they ever smile. Needless to say I will not be returning to this...
Read moreThis is the third time I’ve gone into this store and once again had the most unpleasant experience with customer service from an older woman I assume manages the place. This woman had such a bad attitude that I cold almost smell it. Made things as difficult as she could while enjoying every minute of her little power trip. Today while I was there a young man was trying to help me and I watched the woman I’m speaking of deal with two female customers. She was polite and quite normal with them leaving me to come to the conclusion that she is one of these women that hate men.She interjected her unpleasant self into my dealings with the young man making sure my transaction wasn’t going to work. This poor young man was afraid of her. I’ve been on this planet a long time and I’ve seen this before. While this tired hag did manage to inconvenience me ,I went elsewhere and got my shipping chore completed with no problem. This poor thing is going to wake up tomorrow still stuck in her hateful little mind. I wouldn’t want to be her. Pathetic little woman. I will never step foot in The UPS Store again.
