Heart of the Sea in East Harwich is a true culinary treasure! We’ve been patrons since they opened two years ago, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warmest, friendliest staff who make you feel right at home, while the decor is a magical “under-the-sea” adventure.

The menu is a vibrant celebration of fresh seafood and Latin-inspired flavors—an ambitious and delicious fusion that’s rare to find on Cape Cod. Whether you’re craving a classic lobster roll or something with a Latin twist like empanadas or ceviche, every dish is crafted with high-quality ingredients and bursting with flavor.

They’ve taken on the challenge of bringing bold, exciting plates to the Cape, and they’ve absolutely nailed it. Whether you dine in their cozy space or grab takeout, the experience is consistently top-notch.

Competitive prices, unforgettable flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere—this spot deserves a permanent place on your Cape Cod restaurant bucket list....

There's no way this restaurant has 4.9 stars from legitimate reviews. This must be one of those places where they have family and friends leave tons of 5 star reviews to offset the real ones. The name is very confusing because you'd think this would be a seafood restaurant. Yes, they have some seafood but they also have Latin food and I guess..... Indian? There's a $26 dish called the Indian Platter which comes in a small aluminum to-go container with one small piece of overcooked salmon, some floppy asparagus and boiled potatoes. I guess the drizzle of chimichurri on the salmon is supposed to make it Indian?.....The chicharronnes should be a home run at a Latin restaurant but even that had no flavor without hot sauce. I realize this is a newer restaurant, but they have a serious identity crisis and some ridiculous prices. There's better places to eat in...

We love to come here for a large fish and chips order with a side of lemon. Perfect size for the wife and I to split. The Cole slaw is awesome- and I used to be a coleslaw die hard hater my entire life. The tartar sauce is spectacular. The fish is always light and flaky with a nice crunch, never oily. The fries are always nice and crispy as well. We typically throw some malt vinegar on those. They have a lot of Latin food options outside of seafood, but we come here for the fish and chips specifically since it is such a great value and great tasting. We also get the fried shrimp plate sometimes, which is also great. The owner is always so nice and remembers us every time. Highly recommend this place! You will not be...

My partner and I went to the Heart of the Sea and was thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu showcased a variety of innovative dishes, blending bold flavors of American sea food and Latin (Colombian, Peruvian..) The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I ate chorizo, yuca, clam chowder and tostones. I can’t recommend Heart of the Sea enough for a fantastic dining experience. I will be back soon and try the quinoa salad. thank you Juan and Mady!!

This place came recommended among a slew of other, better known restaurants, as a stand out lobster roll on the cape….and my lunch did not disappoint! The price is just right and the lobster roll had not less than three pieces of claw meat in it! It came on my preferred New England-style hot dog bun, bursting with delicious lobster in mayo. The lunch special also came with the most delicious, flavorful and creamy lobster bisque and a side of my favorite cape cod potato chips. I can’t wait to come back and try some more!
