I want to give more stars, especially if I could to certain employees. Unfortunately not everyone of them shares the same customer service mentality.
Today, I went there to return cans. I understand they close the area off at 7pm. So I made sure I was there beforehand. According to my phone I got there at 740pm. When I got in the door, the older gentleman had just finished putting the barrier up to close that area off. On the barrier it says, "Closed at 7pm". It was 745pm at the exact moment. I stopped the gentleman, who clearly looked like he was trying to avoid any conversation and asked, "if this area supposedly closes at 7pm, why are you closing it now? Its not 7pm yet". He gave a mumbled response and just walked right past me. As customers, we dont get to pick and choose when we pay a can deposit. Its automatically taken, regardless of what time it is. I dont understand how the store that took your deposit can deny it in return. That screams fraud in my personal opinion. But tonight, I was there prior to the posted closing time. None of the prices can be changed just because. I can't change that a deposit is taken.    Read moreI will never be going back here. Many of the isles were missing large portions of stock, the produce was low on stock, and prices werenât cheaper than other places.
In addition, the employees were standing around talking instead of offering their assistance. I was unable to find minced garlic, so after searching for about ten minutes around the produce section, the condiments section, and back to the produce section, I found an employee in the back corner of the store. I asked where I could find minced garlic and he pointed to the produce and said âI would imagine somewhere in produce.â
At checkout, there were only âself check outâ lanes, but I had over 100 dollars worth of food I was purchasing. A woman in uniform literally stood talking to her friend near the back desk as I had to stop scanning my items and bag my stuff, then put it into my cart because I got an announcement from the self checkout that there were too many items on the belt. A younger man came in and also saw me walking back and forth and did not offer to help, but instead watched.
The customer service, poor assortment of choices, and low stock all contribute to a poor first experience at this supermarket. I hope it is not like this all...
