Starbucks — Restaurant in Hastings

As a frequent Starbucks customer who has been to stores all over the world we had our first 1 Star experience today. We stopped in while grocery shopping there was a young blond girl who when I approached and was looking at the menu sharply snapped that if we wanted to order we needed to go over there (to the left, first register). We did that and placed our order. I requested a grande frap with vanilla and hazlenut half pumps. She asked me what size as she didn't even listen and then asked so you want a pump of each? Normal is 2 pumps. At this point I don't want to be a burden and realize a half pump is probably a pain so I say sure. My husband ordered black coffee. As she handed the cup to the trainee I said feel free to pump lightly, doesn't have to be full pumps. She interrupted me and told me she is training her how to read the cup marks and then she proceeded to bark at the trainee about how to read the cup markings. The new gal was frazzled and pumped the wrong one so she barked at her that now she had to rinse the cup. At this point I went to the bathroom. My husband got the drinks and handed me mine. It had whip on top. Dang it, I didn't want whip and hadn't specified that but also wasn't asked. We left and both commented on how rude that barista was. We commented that we wish we had her name but all we had was blond, young and bold rainbow heavy makeup. As I was driving I took a sip and realized I didn't even taste any espresso. I think she made a creme freeze style. She specifically asked me if I wanted a coffee drink and I said yes but maybe she didn't hear that either. All in all it was a negative experience. I didn't want to turn around and deal with her again and threw my $5 drink in the trash when we got to our next stop. Bottom line is in our opinion as fellow business owners she shouldn't be working the front line or training anyone until she puts more work into her...

They’re a pretty good staff. But some people close earlier then the hours say they’re supposed to.. Sometimes I’m unable to get there until 6:30 n they say they’re unable to take my order bc they “close at 7.” My orders not difficult, nor does it take long to make.. But then there’s other ppl who will take my order at 50 if I get there late. Figure that out please, I live far out of town and it sucks driving there to be...
