Bridget's Formals and Alterations LLC — Local services in Hattiesburg

After having some minor alterations done to a cocktail dress for a cruise back in November 2021, I was incredibly impressed with how much more flattering the dress looked after the alterations, how clean and concise the alterations were, and I was incredibly thankful that they squeezed me in to their already busy schedule in order to have it done in two week’s time for the cruise.

Based on the work they did, we brought my fiancés wedding suit in for alterations. The knowledge they had on what exactly needed to be done in order to achieve the desired look for the jacket and break in the pant leg was phenomenal, and we are once again incredibly happy with the job they did.

Despite the number of years Bridget’s has been in business, they continue to strive towards providing the best possible experience to its customers, whether it’s for a young lady looking for a the perfect dress for any given occasion or a gentleman needing alterations for a suit - all at an reasonable price, and with the kindest staff around.

Dress only needed a simple hem and shortened straps. Went to pick it up and was told within 5 minutes that I would have to come later because they were running behind. No problem. They tell me to come back the next day to try it on and pick it up and that there is time to fix it before I need to leave. Well, I show up the next day, try it on, it doesn't fit, and they say "no one is here to fix it. It looks okay at least" even though it's extremely uncomfortable. It literally fit better before being touched. I understand things happen, appointments run over, etc. But to have a customer then not actually be able to get what they're forced to pay for is unacceptable. Worst part...if they had allowed me to simply try it on the day before, we could have at least identified the issue and had the opportunity to problem solve while Bridget was...

I purchased a dress from Montana in a size 22… I am a size 10. I was getting married in a March and it was recommended to buy the dress off the rack then waiting for it to be made in my size in the fear that there wouldn’t be time to do any alterations before the wedding. I got married March6th in Richton and I found Bridgett’s shop by word of mouth. Upon arriving I was greeted by her friendly staff and when I spoke to Bridgett at my first appointment she saw my vision clearly and said she could get it done in the short period of time.
