Great local shop! Jasmine was so cool, kind, and helpful, played many records for me so I could get a feel for the albums and bring home some treasures. I just got to hang out and listen to music, what a treasure. For anyone like me who loves to hit record shops on their travels, this is a must-do in Hilo. Picked up a couple of Hawaiian albums plus some Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and an oldie old R&B album. Also grabbed a cool Hawaiian Mythology book. Made me love Hilo even more.

Walked in and BT Express was playing on the record player, Nuff said!! New owner was very friendly and they had a range of genres. I found a couple records in great condition for a good price.

What a gem of a record store! The new owner Douglas is a kind soul who kindly asked what we would like to hear. It was SERENDIPITOUS that I requested Rod Stewart and he had just received a bunch of his records earlier that day. New owner was funny and very helpful. He's got books and records and CDs and DVDs. He sometimes pairs the books with related music or movies. He's got a great thing going on there and I'm hoping it does well and keeps him going too! Will definitely be going back to see what treasures he's come...
