A great little place to get a refreshing drink. Or food if you're hungry. The food options there are not what one would think about when going to a place called "Cafe Boba". But don't sleep on it, I think they have delicious food there. They don't have much choices on what to get but what they do have is great. Quality over quantity. Daily specials are also available throughout the week as well.

As for the drinks, they have a wide assortment of flavors available. From fruity drinks like strawberry or mango smoothies. Or coffee ones like an espresso frappe (my personal favorite). And on top of the many different drinks you can get, they have a good amount of boba add-ons as well. They have regular, mini, and popping flavored ones to name a few.

The owner of the place is super nice and friendly. Staff is as well. It shows that the place has great leadership. Cafe Boba is definitely my go-to place and it should be...

This is what you get for $7 for a drink. This is what they consider a “large”.If you ask for no ice, they don’t even fill to the line. I won’t be coming back, what a ridiculous waste of $7. You just lost my business over ice, because they’re so cheap they can’t even fill your cup…. $7 is a lot for a tea drink regardless of ice/no ice. So for the loss of maybe $.30 of product you just lost my continued business forever. Not worth the expense.

UPDATE: I changed this review from a one star to a five for customer service. I was contacted by the owner/manager (very unexpected) and they went above and beyond to rectify the issue. Which, to be honest this has happened before a few times and when I said something to the employees they would just apologize saying nothing can be done. This person, was friendly and attentive and for that they deserve a five star...

It’s been a while since I visited Cafe Boba. I used to go a lot because they were located near my job which is where the old Itsu’s was. And if you’re from Hilo you know exactly where that is. But now they’re on Waianuenue. No problem at all though it’s just the reason why it’s been a while. Didn’t get any drinks today(I have at work), just wanted to eat the chicken Panini Sandwich since I was on that side of town today. It’s a must try my Hilo peeps. Could use a lot more sauce though but that’s just my preference because I love Mayo❤️ and I love pesto❤️. The sweet lady who brought my sandwich to the counter gave me a nice big smile and said thank you. I love that. My company is all about customer service so I’m always looking for that when I go anywhere. Today, A+ in everything Cafe Boba. I’ll be...

Stick to the drinks on the menu, if you just like grind food then you might want to find somewhere else. Cafe Boba milk tea and brown sugar milk tea were both great. The boba was amazing, honestly better than Teaspresso's. Unfortunately, the hot dog that I ordered was far better than the double loco that I ordered. Eggs were cooked inconsistently, gravy was flavorless and not thick enough, rice was not made right, the Mac salad was... Just sad. I took a few bites and then gave it to someone on the street.
