Disappointed…when we reached here, the temple was closed. I really had to use the bathroom (as I’m pregnant) and I had my toddler with me, the chapel door was open so I was going to walk in as a senior elder and sister were walking out. I asked them where the bathroom was and they said… you can’t use it, we don’t let random people come inside… I actually used to be a member of this church, and I came to Hawaii and felt I wanted to come sit near the temple - but the people of this church never fail to disappoint me. Although we do not have clothing for rent, we loan clothing at no cost to visitors who come from outside our temple district. We ask that you bring your own temple clothing if at all possible, but if you arrive in Kona without temple clothing, please come. We will welcome you with open arms and free clothing!
