Family run place. Super friendly! If you ever wanted to buy local, this is the place to do it! These guys offer the same prices of the internet, but they do what the internet cannot; they take the time to match you with the right product AND they back it up. Ski and snowboard season rentals for kids. Ski and snowboard day rentals for adults. These guys have fantastic experience to back up their sales. They have demo gear. Hats, gloves, helmets, jackets, bibs, pants, skis, boards, bindings, lift tickets, boots and more; for adults and kids. I can't tell you how often these guys have taken care of me and my family! Great conversations are free! I am not being paid to say any of this. I shop a ton from the net, but when I'm looking for something that they have, I buy from them. The service and support is more than worth it, and it's usually the same price as the net! No brainer! I think they still give 10% off on new board and ski sales on their opening weekend; labor day...

Worst Experience Ever

I’ve been renting dailies for four weekends and we decided to go for season rentals. We requested a specific size, and they assured us it would be available. When we arrived, they didn’t have the size and offered a smaller one or wayyyy bigger ones, saying, “It’ll work since he’s not good enough to worry.” That comment was unnecessary and dismissive.

At checkout, they overcharged me. While they initiated a refund, they were rude about it. Then, as I was still standing at the desk, the staff member said, “You can go now.” I had to remind them that I hadn’t received the poles I rented, which they had forgotten as well.

The experience was frustrating, and the staff came across as careless and rude. My prior visits were much better—family-oriented and welcoming—but today was the complete opposite. I’m now considering returning the season rentals because of...

I have rented equipment from Ski Shack in the past and am in the process of purchasing new ski boots and skis for the 2014/2015 season. I have always had excellent customer service here. I really appreciate the staff's knowledge and patience during my visits. The staff gives their honest opinion on the various products they sell, and from what I can tell, Ski Shack sells only the best quality equipment. They carry 2 of the 3 top-rated ski boots I had already scoped out in the latest Ski magazine buyer's guide prior to my most recent visit.
