I just had to come back and try something new! This time, I tried the turkey avocado sandwich with the soup of the day, and both were fantastic. The soup was a Tuscan artichoke and sausage with sundried tomatoesâsuch a delicious combo! And I have to mention Jackson's beautiful design on my hot chocolate; it was so intricate and lovely. I also got to chat with the owner, who was roasting coffee right in the store. The aroma filled the whole place, adding to the charm. I just love the friendly, laid-back atmosphere here!
Original review: Kaffee Meister on Government Way in Hayden isnât your typical coffee shop. It offers a casual, relaxing atmosphere and a wonderful selection of freshly baked pastries. The sandwiches and the Spinach and Cheese Quiche are delicious, and the hot cocoa is fantastic. For coffee lovers, their blends are rich and full of flavor. This cozy spot is perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone. A great find...

They continue to nail every aspect.
Atmosphere: Bright, clean, rustic, warm. It's the kind of warmth you want from a small town, with the refinement you only expect in the city.
Pricing: Competitive at the local level. This is specialty coffee, so don't expect a $3 latte. If you know local shops, I would place their pricing somewhere between Jitterz and Whoops bakery. Not the most expensive in town, not the cheapest either.
Quality: What you get is fresh roasted specialty beans, served up with the perfectly steamed milk of your choosing. They're one of the few places that consistently get proper micro foam and clearly defined latte art. I would categorize them as an A-S tier shop for North Idaho. A tier that I would only add Union and Evans Bros too.
Check them out! I wish I lived closer, I would make this place part of my...

The orders were being written down on sticky notes and that in itself came across as a disaster. There were four employees working on a large to-go order while the ones who ordered in house waited at least 15 minutes for our coffee order. The women in front of us received their food before their coffee and we received our coffees before them. Itâs great to fulfill to-go orders but maybe a system of divide and concur would be advantageous. Having Such a large espresso machine and the capability of pulling more then one shot at a time would be helpful. Personally I feel having quality systems in place would allow for the employees to be able to offer a more quality experience. Side note.. the coffee cake tasted like it...
