I sold a custom knife on consignment and took store credit for my commission. I then just kind of forgot about it. I moved out of the area and was in town probably about ten years later. I stopped by and just shot in the dark asked if they had a record of my credit. The store had changed owners and no surprise to me they didn’t have a record. I poked around and found a nice Kershaw that I liked and bought it. The guy working seemed honestly bothered that he had no record even though I had zero expectation that they would. Today I decided to stop by Timbers Knives. I’m so glad I did! I stopped to get my blade sharpened and check out the shop. Great shop full of beautiful blades! They did a great job on my blade as well! Met Sam, who’s a great guy and answered all my questions and pointed me to their signature kitchen knives that look like they’d last an eternity.
