Brand new store with a better selection than all the stores in town combined. Now we don't even have to go to Walmart at all and get everything Smiths doesnt have on Amazon, yay!
Sadly, you're still persistent in these invasive self-checkout cameras that make me go to the human checkout lines every time. Sadly cant go early because they dont put any human beings at the registers till around 8am.
Open at 6 am... what happened to being open 24hrs? You guys know covid is over right? Stockers wont be done till 10am. So dont even bother coming till then, otherwise you might not find what you're looking for and be underfoot of the stockers.
Still selling grocery store grade sushi for $15+, when sushi restaurants in SLC are charging that (or less) for fresh premium rolls. Some even fly their fish in from Japan and they still sell their rolls for $8-$15 MAX. (Itto Sushi if you're wondering)
Vitamins are criminally overpriced. Non- groceries are more than Walmart as well, not sure why their not price checking. But suggest just getting that from Amazon.
Oh, and please stop locking up your codoms. I don't know what fetish you guys have making us fetch an employee to open up a case to grab condoms and other stuff in that box, but seriously, please stop. Put it back on a regular shelf. Feels very weird.
Lastly, do something about your deli department. Your meat and fish department and counters look great, and the employees at each one are nice and attentive. Prices are largely inconsistent. The tag will often list a reduced price for an unrelated item, or a digital coupon without clarification, or often in small print. When digital coupons were debuted, they had clear and distinctive orange(?) tags to encourage people to download the app (so they can scalp your data).
There are now much better selections of items in all departments, but I’m holding my breath to see how long these items last with local demand. The new home goods and apparel departments are decent, but makes the store feel like a Target copycat. I’m not sure if it will reach the ‘park city’ tourist demographic, or the working class commuters.
Added a star because Smith’s is now probably the only store in 100 miles that...
Read moreWhat a beautiful store. Very organized with a nice selection. Great Staff!!! We come through Heber frequently and use it as our stopping point. Many times buying lunch snacks and gas. However one very disappointing experience is the conditions of the restrooms. A new store with paper towels dispenser missing, hand dryer broke, empty toilet paper dispenser with empty toilet paper rolls all over the floor. This has been my experience on every visit so it can’t be just a bad day…. Surely the store is doing enough volume to warrant better maintenance in the bathrooms since the rest of the store is immaculate. Don’t the...
