Unfortunately, a horrible experience. I will start by saying that Seth our sales person was very amicable friendly and really helped us around this store. He made lots of promises that he’ll get the best pricing for us that he would keep us happy and was very helpful in finding the sofa and finding the expensive bedroom set, and all of our Purchase. And we were buying a large amount as we were establishing a new residence in the area. . Then it got to Adriana, and since then it went downhill. The pricing seemed great and friendly, and they promised us all kinds of things and how fast things would get to us. Then come delivery time only some of the furniture showed up and some of the other furniture, which was promised to us wasn’t gonna be until mid late March and there were a ton of inconveniences. And every time we question them or try to get information, it was a nightmare trying to get proper customer service, whether it was online with Ashley whether it was from the warehouse or whether it was for Adriana. Then we found out that Adriana charged us $500 for an extended warranty when we very specifically said we do not want the extended warranty. When we asked about it, she said that was the only way she gave us the better pricing as if we took that, but that was never disclosed to us. I don’t need to pay the Shell game give me the best price you can and let me make my decision, especially when I said I didn’t want the extended warranty. As for the other furniture that just never was delivered I still haven’t gotten a credit on my statement and it’s been nearly 60 days. Then they said to to make us happy they promised us so we could go out and pick up two pillows to the best pillows as possible so we came back into the store, trying to be friendly and said OK that would be fair and we picked out two pillows. Here we are almost 3 1/2 weeks later and the pillows still haven’t been sent to us. Do you realize I can get pillows at target, Walmart or any other furniture store almost instantly. Then when we walked in to talk to them one of the sales people came up and said hey what can I do for you and when we said we were just here to talk to customer service the amount of rudeness was unbelievable. Listen bottom line is I have shopped for furniture many times over my 58 years on this planet and the customer service here while that first was great, really really turn sour. I would not shop at this store. You can get the same furniture at the same level and be Treated professionally courteously and respectfully. Me and my better half felt completely deceived and I don’t know. Maybe they were playing the shell game with number so they can get commissions or whatever it is but it just felt dirty and trying to get to the bottom of it. We’re trying to get like an honest upfront answer has been a joke. And while I’ve canceled the other half of the furniture, which, for some reason they could just never deliver to me without telling me that, and never communicate to me, they’ve also never credited my account with synchrony and I guess they expect me just to trust them that eventually I am gonna get the proper credit. So we are in the middle of disputing the entire charge. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else to buy...
Read moreI ordered a sectional from Ashley Furniture in Henderson on 6/27/22. The order was supposed to be delivered in 6 weeks but wasn’t delivered until almost 9 weeks (after multiple calls). My husband accepted the delivery but the sectional we received was entirely entirely different than the one we ordered in store. My husband works till late in the evening and I am busy with school. Calling them doesn’t help as you are placed on hold for hours. My husband also didn’t want to wait another 8 weeks but I was not happy because it was not what I wanted nor ordered. We finally went there in person to talk to them (it’s been a week) to tell them that these are different couches and they told me that their policy is 3 days and only for damage/defective items. The item was neither damaged nor defective but we received something other than what we ordered. The 3 day window was in the fine print but we didn’t read that nor did anyone accuse us verbally of a 3 day window. We talked to the office manager Alicia and the store manager Sabrina but they said they can’t do anything. Initially, they kept insisting that the incorrect sectional was, in fact, what we had ordered in the first place. Then they agreed the wrong sectional was sent to us. After they noticed the three day window was up, they kept referring to that. I am making payments for something I did not order and I am stuck with it. As we were about to leave, the office manager Alicia and store manager Sabrina started laughing loudly at something. Could’ve been anything, but obviously I didn’t find anything amusing in our interaction. I am just angry because I am spending my hard earned money on this couch every month but its not even what I wanted. They said we can try calling corporate but we know nothing will happen. This was the Mall ring circle location near Galleria mall. Just wanted to vent and let everyone know about it. I will never shop from there as they are not honorable. It was a bait and switch. I am attaching the pictures in store and the one on their tablet that they showed us versus what they gave us. The quality and design are subpar to the one we liked. Be careful of where you spend your money and just because it’s a big name-brand store doesn’t mean they are honorable with keeping their word. I just wanted to...
Read moreWas just asked to leave Ashley HomeStore while preparing to pay for a sectional. I had asked the Henderson, NV store manager -- John Salandra -- specific questions about the delivery of some clearance items (Vincenzo Living Room Set) and he became unhinged, canceled the $2055 deal, called me "problematic" and told me to get out of his store.
This wasn't my first visit to the location; it was the sixth. I wasn't "kicking tires," but was at the Customer Service counter reading over the paperwork. The issue? Ashley HomeStore had written in fine print that the clearance item was sold as-is, no refunds or exchanges. Further, I was informed that the sectional would be delivered by a third-party company and not by Ashley HomeStore. Since the clearance item was also backordered, I questioned John Salandra: "If something happens to the furniture between the store and my apartment, who is responsible for replacing it, what will they replace it with and when (since it's backordered)?"
John was clear there could be no exchanges under any circumstance, then demanded that I sign the paperwork or leave the store. I repeatedly mentioned that I was willing to purchase the furniture; however, I wanted to be able to transfer the purchase dollar amount ($2055) to another living room set if anything happened during delivery. Moments later he pushed the sales paperwork (aggressively) back toward the female Customer Service associate and told the salesman the deal was canceled.
He stormed off and I followed him to the middle of the store. I told John (the manager) that I would be contacting Ashley Corporate to report his bad behavior, as well as the BBB and RipoffReport. He spun around to face me and yelled, "Get out of my store right now!" I left without saying a single word to anyone else.
I believe I am owed an apology from the manager of this store, John Salandra, as well as Ashley Corporate for blatant discourtesy and...
