Soru Ramen Sushi & Seafood — Restaurant in Henderson

This is one of the tougher reviews to write, as both my mother and I TRULY liked this place, the food and staff until today. I ordered take out at around 12:30 & when I got the food home, the first issue arose with a salmon special roll that was very fishy. The salmon tasted almost like it had been mixed in with albacore. No problem, we can work passed that. Until around 9pm, I decided to eat the Cajun shrimp (head on) that was ordered at the same time. I made it through a couple pieces and then began to notice that there were several shrimp that were not cooked all the way; the shrimp was still grey and very tough. I called the restraraunt in the hopes of receiving some guest recovery but was met with an abrasive pushback to my problem. I was first questioned about my order; I was told that there were no to go orders that day of any Cajun shrimp. I told the person on the phone that I did in fact order there today without question. The person then began to argue about if I really did go to that location and I said there was no doubt. The person told me I could bring in the shrimp and a receipt to prove I actually ordered from there...not to do the right thing and give me a refund, no...to prove I was there. I went into the restaurant and the very same person who sold me my food was the one I was on the phone with that night! I explained I'm the one who called, to which they said they still didn't see any to go orders of shrimp that day. I told them YOU WERE THE ONE WHO SOLD ME MY FOOD; they then backpedaled and admitted to selling the food, especially after I showed my receipt I had. They then took the shrimp and asked if I wanted a new batch of a refund. I said a refund. They took the shrimp, opened up the bag and began to examine the contents. They got a bowl out, poured the shrimp in the bowl and then questioned me on how many I ate prior to bringing them in. I said a couple. They said it looks like there was more than a couple eaten. To which I then replied "What difference does it make how many were eaten? The issue is the ones remaining are not cooked!". The person then went to the cash drawer, gave me a refund and....nothing else. No apology, no accepting the responsibility, no accountability whatsoever.

Now again; my mom and I have spent A LOT of time and money at this place but after this exchange, we will NOT be going back. As frequent customers, we know there was a level of respect and professionalism that brings us back and this situation was the COMPLETE opposite. Until management reaches out to apologize and make up for this horrid experience; again, we will NOT...

Update not sure what's going on here now. I was extremely disappointed with our service tonight. 01/08/25. We got there around 6:15pm & ordered promptly. My husbands food was brought out with in 15min. Mine however seemed to have been forgotten. As sat there and waited for mine, I saw 3 guys come in after me then one ordered the same thing I did and his was brought out way before mine, which I might add was not brought out until I told them to just cancel my food. Now mind you I sat there over 30min after my husband got his order only to be told they were still working on it. My husband will not sit there and eat while I have nothing so his food got cold. I would have understood if I hadn't seen it myself. But seriously why for one would you bring out one of two orders for the same table if you knew the other would not be done around the same time and why would you serve the dish I was waiting for to someone else who arrived after me while I waited? Most people who come in together do so because they want to dine together. I will say when I paid for my husband's meal (mine had been removed from the bill) they then brought mine out in a to go box which I told them at that point was unnecessary. After the drama I don't even feel comfortable eating what they sent home. I am just seriously bummed. I have dined in & ordered from Uber from here a bunch in the past. I was so looking forward to this as we hadn't eaten all day because we were at CES & had been walking around all day. This was supposed to be a treat not a disappointment. I don't see myself going back here again.

Mood - Slight Hangry before the Monster

When I am hungry sometimes nothing sounds good. So I will drive until I see something that glows especially when I am by myself. Ramen is usually one of those foods that are apart of my go-to list. Today I was borderline hangry and passed by this spot.

Upon entering was quickly greeted and asked if I was dining in or take out. Because I chose to dine in, I was able to have table service. Menu was brought out along with water.

I opted for that Black Garlic Ramen of course, Gyoza, and Garlic Edamame. Now I am familiar with their other locations and this was in the same league as what I have come to know. Awesome food. Nothing that was brought out disappointed in the slightest.

Interior is very lively. If you are a fan of anime you will love their wall murals. There are several seating arrangements. This place is good for large groups or small intimate parties. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background.

Would most def recommend - pricing in my opinion was reasonable. Especially for the portions and the quality. Staff were very hospitable and courteous. My table was checked on continually. This is not fast food so be prepared to wait a bit as items are...
