It was our first time here and it was better than we expected! They ONLY use fresh ingredients and also they bake their bread and cookies on the spot all day long!!! Which makes it extremely rare these days for the restaurant to make it everything from the scratch and everything is fresh- nothing frozen EVER!!!
They use local ingredients and make healthy delicious sandwiches, bowls and farm fresh salads. They have a great selection of hearty meals , including vegetarian options too. The side salads served with those sandwiches are pretty decent as well.
The real treat are their cookies ( available in several different flavors - my suggestion “ white chocolate cranberry “ MUST TRY ) and of course baked fresh daily and served warm and so soft and delicious! Honestly the best cookie that I’ve ever had!
They also have a healthier version of fountain drinks “ CRAFT BATCH SODAS “ and they are even tastier than regular Coke or Pepsi products.
The staff is awesome, very friendly and kind, providing excellent service always with a smile. The restaurant is very nice and clean, extremely inviting.
Overall we had a delightful experience ! Great healthy food, wonderful staff and...
Read moreI’ve been to several Urbane Café locations—from California to now Henderson—and have always enjoyed their meals. The food usually hits the spot.
However, this visit wasn’t up to their usual standard. The bread was extremely salty—you could actually see the salt crystals on top. I even tried scraping them off, but it was still too much. My child only ate half of their pizza, and I couldn’t finish more than half of my sandwich.
I didn’t want to make a scene, so on my way out, I quietly approached the counter and spoke to a woman who I assumed was the manager, as she was wearing a polo shirt. I said, “Hey, just so you’re aware, your bread is really salty,” and I tried to show her a piece. She didn’t even acknowledge me—no response, no eye contact, nothing.
Another staff member, the one who brings food to the tables, overheard and simply said, “Oh, okay.”
I wasn’t trying to complain rudely—I just wanted to give feedback in a respectful way. I expected at least a simple acknowledgment or a “Thanks for...
Read moreWhen you walk into a restaurant and they greet you with a resounding "Welcome" you know somebody is doing something right. My brother found Urbane Cafe driving by and suggested we try it. Before we ordered we talked with staff and management about the business and asked about ingredients. Everything is made fresh daily. The staff was able to answer all of our questions. We are impressed! The focaccia bread was baked in the oven right in front of you. So fresh; slight crunch on the outside with a light dusting of salt and wonderfully soft on the inside. My brother had the gourmet grilled cheese and I had the chicken banh mi. Both of our orders came with a lightly dressed salad. The sandwich ingrediants were so flavorful without being overwhelming. The have vegetarian and vegan sandwiches available. Unfortunately, I'm visiting from Oregon and will miss Urbane Cafe (open a store in Portland!) but my brother will be visiting often. Highly...
