I went to the Sunset branch near Green Valley today to open a business account and was declined without a clear reason.
When I first walked in, a teller greeted me and asked for my business EIN and Articles of Organization, which I provided. I explained that I had already tried to open an account with Chase, but they don’t allow Series LLCs. The teller assured me that wouldn’t be a problem here.
After reviewing my documents, the teller asked for my passport and then my driver’s license, which I also provided. At that point, the branch manager came over with another banker and took me into an office. The manager told me they were declining my account because I needed to show proof of address. Typically Nevada State Bank has always been willing to waive a NSF fee or assist in a payment reversal- because I cover the payments within the day...... However this is my first visit to This branch and the teller was very distant, and didnt have a bother with actually assisting me with my issue... She told me they couldnt put a request/review on the account because I didnt cover the funds by 9 AM ... I have never gotten this explanation before- and she didnt offer any other form of assistance.... I was able to speak with customer service and resolve the issue.. Thank you for being so...
Read moreMy dad helped me set up a savings account here when I was like 16, They have always been so kind and helpful whenever I've had a question. I work just down the street from them and I go there often to get papers Notarized. Angelica (the notary) is always so sweet, helpful, and engages in some great conversation with me! C.T. helped me get a checking account, and he was so patient throughout the whole process. I've enjoyed getting to know each person over the past couple months. I definitely recommend them, they are always willing to explain something if you don't understand (without making you feel stupid) Kudos to C.T, Angelica, Courtney, and Taylor! you guys...
