BEST HOOKAH LOUNGE EVER! I had a great experience at The Olive Mediterranean Grill, but I would be remiss if I did not thank the owners. After leaving the lounge around 3 am, I misplaced my wallet. The next morning the owner texted me and helpped me look for it. The owners family did everything in their power to help me find my wallet. I was a nervous wreck, and the evenowners family went above and beyond to help me as cutif I was family. Truly a genuine family owned establishment. Not only Theydid they politely answer all my nervous questions, they looked through security footage, and verified that I misplaced my wallet after leaving the club. I absolutely cannot tell you how thankful I am for their hospitality. Knowing I didn't have any money, they offered me food and beverage, then called other casinos to help me find my wallet. They treated me like family. I am writing this on the plane home, and I was really down because I thought my entire identity may be stolen... I just got a call that my wallet was found at the hotel! Everything is in place. At The Olive you will find angels in a city full of sin! I recommend you visit The Olive without hesitation! The wait staff are cool, approachable, and easy going. I loved the love music, it's the perfect hang out in a very desirable hang out . Most importantly you can feel safe here. I will definitely be back. God...
Read moreThe Olive is by far my favorite hookah lounge in Las Vegas. The place has a great, relaxed vibe during the week, but is popping pretty good on Friday and Saturday nights.
The food is really good, with a basic selection of traditional Mediterranean fare along with the standard bar food staples you’d expect. The schawarma is great, pizza and chicken wings are tasty, and they have a great selection of salads. The menu isn’t expansive, but they do a good job with what they offer.
There is a fully stocked bar and a good selection of bottled beers, as well as a few on tap. Cocktails can sometimes run a little strong, so if you are a light drinker, take that into account.
The whipped cream on top for The Olive though is the featured live music every night of the week. Depending on what night you go, the band is usually R&B / Soul by Barry Black, Preston Pohl, or Kennedy King who each have their own unique sound and playlists, but you also might catch a reggae band, folk music, or on Sundays they feature a live Arabic singer and belly dancing.
The only negative thing I can really say about The Olive is that they sometimes get busy on the weekends, so reservations are pretty much required. I guess I should stop telling everyone how great the place is so they’d be a...
Read moreI used to go to the Olive as an 18 year old. I can only sit on the 18+ side and was so envious of the 21+ side. But even then, I always had a good time. The service was great, the hookah was great, and the food was great. Fast forward 3 years. I turned 21 and everything still was great...and I could drink (legally). But now I'm 27...the place has gotten more popular and the service became lackadaisical and rude. I've even got an eye roll when I asked about something on the check (turns out it was a gratuity I've never seen before, but it made sense because I was with a larger group). The staff doesn't smile anymore, they aren't welcoming, and in all honesty, they treat patrons like we are a dime a dozen. That may be the case, but no patron should have to feel second rate or like they don't belong. I've spent some hard earned money at the Olive and that was okay with me. But I've given them 3 times recently to show me that the customers are important, and each time they failed. I don't think...
