I place an order for pick up in the store since the item I wanted was in stock at the Galleria location. I placed the order fairly early in the day, about 11 AM. I wait and wait and wait alllll day for an email saying it was ready to pick up, which it never came. I call again the day after in the morning to check the status of my order. The representative on the phone says it was picked up, which I never picked it up. Weird. So I let her know I never picked it up and the representative contacted the store and she said that they can do a substitution for it. Cool! So I head on down to pick up my substitution... just for them to try and charge me $55 AGAIN to pay for the substitution. I tried explaining that I have already paid for the item which wasn't in stock according to one of the workers, and she just didn't care. She wanted me to pay yet another $55 for the damn substitution. Every explanation I say to hear lands on deaf ears. I walk out since I am not paying $55 AGAIN. After I walk out, they finally realized that "oh shoot wait, that item isn't in stock so let's cancel the order the day after he placed it". I contact customer support just for them to not be able to do anything since the worker already processed my refund. Now I am without my early Christmas gift and $55 f** dollars. Merry Christmas. Read moreI was here and was racially profiled. At first I didn’t notice it, I had picked up 5 shirts and went to the back to look at the lingerie and clearance. One associate comes to “fix” some shirts that I was looking at. I was like okay. Then 15 mins later another associate goes to the back room for no reason, she comes right back out with no merchandise. Then I’m like wait a minute, I was disbelief. I love Spencer’s. So I said to my boyfriend, “if another person comes back here, they’re profiling us.” There we’re so many customers in the front of store but not one associate. They were all standing by the Tshirts on the wall. So I went to look at some more shirts on the other side of the store. And 10 mins another associate comes and “fixes” something by us. There was nothing out of place. I was so upset!!! I left the shirts on a rack and left. There was a section with all kinds of Christmas stuff that had various signs stating how much clearance for each section. The section we got our necklace from said 10% off. When we went to buy the necklace they took $0.01 off our total purchase of $15.00. I'm pretty sure thats not 10%. I told them that. They proceeded to argue that we must have not gotten it from a clearance section and its automatic in the computer. Great, the computer is wrong! Everything Christmas related had some sort of clearance on it. So taking off $0.01 any item would not add up. The argument continued and I got bored.
