TOURIST BEWARE!! I would avoid all Bojangles in and around the Hendersonville/Flat Rock NC areas.
I will provide some background. My wife and I recently had our Kitchen remolded. This took approximately 10 months. This caused us to frequent a number of restaurants. We went to some we could eat in and others for fast food.
Bojangles was one of those fast food services that we patronized. We found that both establishments exhibited a lack of service, professionalism and politeness of their respected staffs.
Service was very inadequate. Orders not provided correctly. You order 3 wings, mashed potatoes with extra gravy and green beans. Normally the green beans were there, sometimes slaw was substituted. Never was the chicken right, except 1 time. I believe we went to these restaurants ~30 times during this construction period. The potatoes and gravy occasionally had the extra gravy.
Professionalism was highlighted when you would go back and complain about incorrect order. Staff would be offended, lie and exhibited rude behavior toward you. We had one lady say you will have to take as it is. We do not have any wings or give me the potatoes I can put more gravy on them. Is this a lack of training or the new approach to businesses now?
Politeness is something not seen anymore by the people in these drive throughs. They rarely acknowledge your presence with a smile and introduction. This can sometimes be felt when order is give over the intercom. I am not sure how this can be rectified.
In closing, I would offer going to Chic-fil-A for Good service, professionalism and staff that is polite. Sometimes the traffic there can be a hassle, but food is...
Read moreWhat I witnessed at your establishment was not a restaurant but a pit of filth and failure that should never have been allowed to bear the Bojangles name. Every aspect of my visit was an insult. The service was slow to the point of mockery. My order of a four piece Chicken Supremes combo took fifteen minutes and still arrived butchered, the biscuit absent, the fries limp and half cooked, the entire tray reeking of negligence. I was made to sit at the window as if invisible while your joyless attendants slouched inside and refused even the most basic acknowledgment of my presence.
Yet the food and the staff, pitiful as they were, paled beside the revolting state of the grounds. Overflowing dumpsters spilled refuse into the open air, attracting a swirling mass of birds that blackened the sky. There were easily more than a hundred, shrieking and fouling the lot in a spectacle more fitting for a pestilent dump than a place that dares to serve food. It was a vision of rot, of decay, of corporate indifference so profound it should strip Bojangles of its right to call itself a North Carolina institution.
This location is not simply poorly managed. It is a disgrace. It is a parasite gnawing at the reputation of a brand that once commanded respect. To leave it in operation is to declare open contempt for your customers and for the state that made...

1/7/2025: Still good food at bargain prices. Great chicken. Large pieces. Slightly spicy, but just peel the skin off if you don't like that. Fast service. BARGAIN compared to most fast food places. They DON'T ask for a tip when paying. Sides are good and typical sizes, not huge. Fresh biscuits. Ask for honey. 6/22/23 update: Food is good, but chicken pieces and sided are small than 2-3 years ago. Lids don't fit the cups. Ran out of dark meat. Dining room sometimes closed due to lack of employees. They forgot part of our order. Prices up. I removed a star.
10/6/23 update: I restored a star. Things are back to pre-pandrmic. Large size chicken. Plenty of everything. Good service. And more customers. Prices are up slightly, but it's still a bargain for real food. 1/21/2024: Same great food, and they've added so great new bowls. 4/10/2024: You can now get roasted chicken instead of fried. Ask the cashier. 9/24/2024: Prices up a bit, but still a good value. Real chicken, not the processed meat at most fast...
