Starting off I just want to say that I’ve spent 10 years in the customer service industry as well as my mother was a McDonalds manager for 20. I grew up in that world.
Taking my brother to work this morning he’d decided that he wanted Bojangles, their line was full and we didn’t want to risk him being late. Taco Bell being right across the street and having no one in the drive through seemed like the best option. Pulling up to the screen I asked the man for just a few minutes as we don’t eat there often and weren’t sure what we wanted. Within less than a minute they’re offering random boxes and suggestions. I thanked them so much for the help but said I just needed a moment longer. Less than 30 seconds later a woman now chimes in and asks if we’d like to come inside and order instead. Meanwhile there’s no one in front of us, no one behind us and we’ve literally been here for maybe a minute and a half. Now feeling as if I'm doing something wrong I apologize again and said we were about to order we just needed a second. We ordered promptly after and were greeted with an annoyed tone the entire time. At the window I apologized and asked if there was some sort of issue with us taking a second to decide when there was no one behind us? She kindly informed me that their drive times are the most important thing and that the corporate office will yell at them if they take too long. I understand drive times, been there, I understand management, been there. I also understand that the consumer is always the priority. That customer service and making the customer feel welcome and helped is the priority. I don’t eat out often so I’m not sure if I plan on being back here to be honest. With that being said the food was good! Kinda hard to enjoy it though when the experience left such a bad taste in your mouth. Are drive times really more important? I guess so. We will probably just wait in the Bojangles...
Read moreI'm sure I just lost my job but I walked out today on my shift today in tears. You guys please do not eat at the Taco Bell in Hendersonville. Last night they had a problem with their cooler that wasnt keeping the food at the right temperature. This morning our manager was temping food and practically everything was reading above 40°F. The beef was at 48°F, tomatoes smelled rancid and we threw SOME away, quac was 45°F ect. Food is not safe but were told to serve it anyways by our store manager and district manager. They told me to put a sign out about our broken speaker. And it just didnt sit right with me to be serving this food. I told people at drive-thru what I knew and everyone thanked me and left. I was told to take an order at front counter and I saw a construction worker smiling at me very friendly and I couldnt do it. I told him about our problem and he left. Employees their have said they aren't eating the food there for at least a week because we have food in the cooler that sat overnight, temping 40+ that's an automatic fail for heal inspecting. They served many elder ppl in our lobby that food! And I broke down in tears thinking about all the people who could get sick or even die from it and all the kids at drive-thru who may suffer from it too. And I left. So please be aware! And please help share. There are cars lining up to eat...
Read moreConsidering its the only taco bell in H town, its good. So what the food is messed up sometimes or its a slow wait time. ITS THE ONLY TACO BELL IN HENDERSONVILLE. They have to train new people and keep up with their sells. Honestly the managers are nice, they care about the customers. They try their hardest in drive thru when they are gettin slammed with 20 cars, so what you had to wait 20 mins. Be grateful they are there in the first place to serve you. Its hard working fast food and dealing with rude people. If you want fast food. Dont come on break cause thats usually 12-1 thats when everyone gets break at manufaturing plants and mostly anywhere. They get slammed. Go to ingles you want fast food Go early their breakfast is amazing! The people their are real. Dont diss them, if they wasnt here you would have no fast food. You wouldnt have alot of things. It takes real patience and great customer service to deal with hateful rude people when you are getting slammed in drive thru and front, getting talked down to cause you work in fast food. Well someone has to work their. Its not a choice you work where you have to work to make it. Thats how it works. KEEP IT UP TB DONT LET THESE CLOWNS...
