One month ago my wife and I brought in a pair of earrings to get a new backing on it. We were told it would take a couple of days. It's been a month and we just picked them up without one on it.
She had called several times to check the status, as did I. When we picked up the finished product today, it was a completely different pair of earrings. The manager said he was trying to help and thought he was doing us a favor because they were better quality. Jewelry to most people has a sentiment behind it, a purpose it was given to them. Whether it's a $10 ring, or $20,000 pair of earrings it means something. He was disrespectful, unprofessional and most of all lacked any ounce of integrity as a human being. I would not recommend Saslow's for anything other than if you like the worst customer service you've ever received, or to be told by someone that something you love is replaceable as long as you don't notice.
This will be filed along with a claim to the better business bureau for some of the most deceitful business practices I have ever seen. Shame on you. You are a terrible manager and a truly shameful...

It might have been hard work on their part, but they made it seem like it was super easy. It was definitely easy from my side of things. I ended up purchasing an engagement ring, wedding band that looks like it was made to go with the ring, and a diamond necklace that pretty much look like they were made to go together. My mother is deceased and I brought her jewelry to their store so that Marie could help me better understand the value of the collection. She, Chelsea, and Janice spent hours educating me about the different gem stones and the approximate value of each piece. They answered all of my questions and gave me ideas and referrals about what I should do next to sell the collection. I have had the collection for over a year because I was fearful that I would be taken advantage of because of my limited knowledge about the worth of the pieces.
