After being turned away from KFC "said they ran out of chicken", my wife went to the Hermiston Burger King drive-thru hoping for a simple dinner. Unfortunately, her experience was nothing short of frustrating and disrespectful.
From the moment she began placing her order, the employee taking it was extremely pressuring — cutting in with a rushed “Anything else?” after every item, barely giving her a second to speak. She politely asked them to slow down and explained that she doesn't do well under pressure, but the same rude, rushed tone continued throughout the order.
When she pulled up to the window, she was handed three full bags of food at once with no regard for whether she could carry them safely. She told the employee she was going to drop them if they kept being handed like that, and was met with attitude and a scoff — again, unnecessarily rude.
While still at the window, she checked the bags and realized the BBQ sauce she paid for was missing. When she mentioned it, the employee opened the window again with the same dismissive, rude tone and handed her ketchup instead. No apology. No correction.
This isn’t just poor service — it’s a complete lack of professionalism and care. Fast food can be a tough job, I understand that, but there’s no excuse for treating customers with this level of disrespect.
I truly hope management sees this and takes it seriously. No one should feel stressed or disrespected trying to...
Read moreVery disappointed with this BK and probably won’t be coming back for a while. A couple months ago my family went through drive thru and tried to use a coupon for the Family Bundle meal. The lady on the speaker acted like she didn’t know what we were talking about and and acted like she couldn’t hear us. Repeated three times and she said she still couldn’t understand us. Got tired of repeating ourselves and we’re practically yelling that we had a coupon and asked if we could just order at the window. She snapped at us and very rudely said “Don’t yell at me!”. Then she refused to respond to us so we just pulled out. Usually I get the whopper meal and ask for no mayo and 9 times out of 10 they just cover it in mayo. Also the soda in their machines is always flat and they rarely ever change it. Just recently I went in and had to wait 10 minutes to be served. The dude at the register acted like he didn’t want to serve me. He kept getting my order wrong and I had to tell him five times before he got it right. I had asked for the whopper meal to go and they forgot to give me my fries but I didn’t realize until I got home. They really need to step up their service and quit...
Read moreHermiston BK has really gone down hill... I just got back from there after initially going through the drive through. I ordered two Quarter Pound Kings with ketchup, mustard and extra onions and pickles. They originally gave me two regular Whoppers with nothing on them. I took them back in to have them fixed, only to have them take two more attempts and still get them WRONG! After an hour and three full attempts, the lady working handed me a small box of cheese because the last attempts were both missing it. So this is what I got... It's still incorrect. And when I asked for a refund and asked if they'd want the burgers back (so as to prove I wasn't just wanting free food), they told me "No. This is all I can do". I guess the people working there right now don't know the difference between a Whopper sandwich and a Quarter Pound King because they are two completely different sandwiches! I even showed her a picture of it after the second screw up and she still couldn't (or wouldn't) replicate it. And to top all this off, I had ordered fries with the original purchase and I couldn't eat them because they were stale! Thanks,...
