I'm pretty excited about this find. I've been wanting to check it out for a while now. Finally today we celebrated my wifes friends birthday. So we decided let's try something not so typical. Therefore, here we are. Conveniently located on the east side of the fifteen freeway, off of Main Street in Hesperia. I want to say thank you to the Dulce Canella staff for being friendly, and taking care of our sweet tooth. My wife tried the fried plantains, our friend had some churros, and I went with the deep fried Twinkies. See the pictures, and video I took. All of the items were beautifully prepared, and served piping hot. The bakery was nice and clean. Very decent size menu with plenty of selections from the deep fried treats. So many topping choices to personalize your selection. You can order Ice cream alongside your deep fried deliciousness. There's milkshakes, warm drinks, and lots of traditional Mexican treats. Such as Warm champurrado, and various types of fresh pondulce. Conchas, cookies, and breads. You just can't go wrong here. So if you're in the neighborhood, or a local to the high desert, maybe you're just traveling through. Stop in, and give this place a try. They absolutely won't disappoint. Again, thank you Dulce Canella Staff. We'll see...
Read moreJust wanted a light dessert snack on my long drive home from this area. Churros sounded great in This place came up in my search. They have decently sized menu options for the price but I wanted something smaller so I did kind of make your own a la carte two churros, one topping of strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream which came out around 6 bucks. ( I understand business and margins, but possibly a smaller "Sunday" option may get some love from customers with a smaller appetite or even kids) Service was great. The cashier was friendly and offered to walk me through the menu and help me with my final decision. I also appreciate it that she walked me through her receipt as it was kind of a custom order to ensure I was charged correctly. I personally love churros and I'm used to being disappointed when I try different places. But this place is great and I'm happy with my order. I'll...
Read moreCame in to try churros as Iâve never been in this store before and was excited to try something new. Not one employee even acknowledged me as I stood there trying to read the ridiculous electronic rotating menu board. It doesnât give you enough time to even read the whole menu board before it rotates to other items on their menu so it was very frustrating. One male came up to the front counter, looked at me and proceeded to finish what he was doing by turning around and going back to the kitchen area without saying one word. A female employee was in the kitchen just standing there watching me with again no acknowledgment. So I turned around and went to Del Taco for their Churros which are the best Churros in my opinion. Iâll never go back to this restaurant. Iâd give it no...
