I'm pretty excited about this find. I've been wanting to check it out for a while now. Finally today we celebrated my wifes friends birthday. So we decided let's try something not so typical. Therefore, here we are. Conveniently located on the east side of the fifteen freeway, off of Main Street in Hesperia. I want to say thank you to the Dulce Canella staff for being friendly, and taking care of our sweet tooth. My wife tried the fried plantains, our friend had some churros, and I went with the deep fried Twinkies. See the pictures, and video I took. All of the items were beautifully prepared, and served piping hot. The bakery was nice and clean. Very decent size menu with plenty of selections from the deep fried treats. So many topping choices to personalize your selection. You can order Ice cream alongside your deep fried deliciousness. There's milkshakes, warm drinks, and lots of traditional Mexican treats. Such as Warm champurrado, and various types of fresh pondulce. Conchas, cookies, and breads. You just can't go wrong here. So if you're in the neighborhood, or a local to the high desert, maybe you're just traveling through. Stop in, and give this place a try. They absolutely won't disappoint. Again, thank you Dulce Canella Staff. We'll see you again soon.

I went in yesterday and ordered mini pancakes which weren’t on their menu. I only knew cause I searched it on google and was very disappointed with how small and dry the mini pancakes were. Almost payed 12$. 1$ extra for Nutella and asked for lechera, I couldn’t find the lechera anywhere. Not to mention how tiny they were and almost tasted like frozen pancakes. I ordered the ones with 18 and couldn’t believe the size of them and how 18 pancakes could fit in such a small container. Plus the employees kept screaming at each other in the back, mostly the girl, was originally gonna eat there but decided to go home and eat. Very unprofessional and not worth for the price you pay. At least not for the mini pancakes. I’m a girl and have a tiny hand so yes these are tiny

Overall the experience was pleasant. We wanted a sweet treat and the wife found this new place. The menu is pretty overwhelming, but the girl at the counter was great and eager to help. We asked what she likes, she told us her normal order so we got that along with an iced coffee. The iced coffee was great and the food was fantastic. The reason for the 4 star is because they had zero customers inside and were all chatting in the back but the dining area looks like an army came through. Every table was sticky and full of crumbs, trash on the ground, crumbs on the seats and floor. Staff were very willing to clean the table we sat at, which they then cleaned all the tables. We will return!

Just wanted a light dessert snack on my long drive home from this area. Churros sounded great in This place came up in my search. They have decently sized menu options for the price but I wanted something smaller so I did kind of make your own a la carte two churros, one topping of strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream which came out around 6 bucks. ( I understand business and margins, but possibly a smaller "Sunday" option may get some love from customers with a smaller appetite or even kids) Service was great. The cashier was friendly and offered to walk me through the menu and help me with my final decision. I also appreciate it that she walked me through her receipt as it was kind of a custom order to ensure I was charged correctly. I personally love churros and I'm used to being disappointed when I try different places. But this place is great and I'm happy with my order. I'll...

Came in to try churros as I’ve never been in this store before and was excited to try something new. Not one employee even acknowledged me as I stood there trying to read the ridiculous electronic rotating menu board. It doesn’t give you enough time to even read the whole menu board before it rotates to other items on their menu so it was very frustrating. One male came up to the front counter, looked at me and proceeded to finish what he was doing by turning around and going back to the kitchen area without saying one word. A female employee was in the kitchen just standing there watching me with again no acknowledgment. So I turned around and went to Del Taco for their Churros which are the best Churros in my opinion. I’ll never go back to this restaurant. I’d give it no...
