Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Hesperia

I would not give a business 1 star unless they deserved it. Keeping it short... -Food was pretty pricey compared to the quantity of food you get. -Quality; The tri tip had too much gristle and was WAY under cooked, it was bloody and purple inside. -I wrote a letter to quality control, they responded with an apology and promised to mail me complimentary char tickets. It's been two months and they still have failed to uphold their promise. This was the email I received from the Customer Care Coordinator back in April.

"Hi Jason,

I am very sorry to hear about your recent experience at The Habit. We strive to provide our customers with quality food and excellent service. Sadly we failed to accomplish our goal but, I am glad to get your feedback. I have copied our District Manager about your experience, so she can follow up with the team in Hesperia.

If it would be okay, we would like to invite you back, and make it up to you by sending you a few complimentary char tickets for your next visit. Is this the correct address below?

I mistakenly gave this habit a 1 star rating, that's not even close. I've been coming to this location for a few months, it's actually a miracle they put one in Hesperia, I live in San Bernardino but come up the hill to spend time with family and will get us something a step above standard fast food (when I have some extra money) and feel like having a double char combo, or a teriyaki char, or my favorite The Santa Barbara char. I do miss the golden spicy chicken sandwich, but I don't think that's been a thing for a few years. The staff has always been super friendly, they keep everything clean, and if I want my fries a little more crispy they know exactly how to do it. I had a free char burger for my birthday a few months ago, but for whatever reason the code on my phone wasn't scanning. We tried a couple times, and they gave me a free char burger. But being me, I need fries and it was my birthday so I splurged on a milkshake, and it felt like my own personal little birthday gift to myself. I'm sorry I bumped the one star, it was not...

We ordered 2 sandwiches ,1 French fry, 1 order of green beans, 1 order of onion rings, and 2 sodas. 2 people having 2 meals. As you can see by my receipt $47 and some change. Not real upset about the price because I expect to pay too much going out to eat in California. Buzzer went off, and I went to the counter to get my dine in order. The person(I don't want to miss gender)... behind the counter asked if I needed anything else. We were given 2 ranch dipping sauces, but I asked the person for 1 more ranch. I was promptly told that another ranch would be a charge. I told the person that after spending $47 on 2 meals, that it was RIDICULOUS after spending that much money you would charge for 1 more sauce. 1 star is a gift after being denied a request after an invitation.
