IHOP — Restaurant in Hesperia

I am 24 years old I have worked in customer service for 8 years. choosing to be happy is not difficult and it's not hard to be patient. We came in for not even 20 minutes, my fiancé had gone to the bathroom and I had left my phone in the car. They had dropped off a water for us and after I returned from the car was asked by a Michelle (not sure if this was her name or the manager who had helped my fiancé but she was a older woman with dyed red ish brown hair and a crooked nose wearing a purple shirt) if we were ready again and I had said no because my fiancé was still gone. For context i understand how annoying it would be if a couple came in and ordered a water while one is in the bathroom and the other is at the table but it wasn't that serious. When we were finally ready to order I had ordered my food after she cut me off and pointed to the picture on the menu like I'm a kid, and berated my fiancé idc which way you look at it she just wanted spicy tenders with a stack of 4 pancakes and the woman asked her 5 different times in less then a minute, (no I am not lying) "WHAT DO YOU WANT", "This one or that one". While she doing her most my fiancé is starting to shy away from ordering cause the woman is getting louder while slapping the menu at different angles and jabbing her finger at it to "Help" her. After she finished she snatched the menu and I had to keep myself from snatching her up I condone violence and putting my hands on a woman, however my fiancé is 25 NOT A CHILD, point blank the customer service has propted me to go to Denny's as long as I live in Hesperia unless the Victorville location better or she is no longer working.

9:32pm Saturday on feb 16. I left really annoyed. My and my boyfriend stop and the lady's their barely wanted to say hello, almost like a "ugh customers face" . I said hello before they said anything. Anyway we still sit down and the server says "me or the other server will be right with you" which was weird because there was only 1 other couple there. So we wait. Then I say "they are taking forever you wana leave?" To my bf and he says "no she's coming " but turns out no she wasn't . We wait another minute and decide "let's go". Meanwhile the lady is just stocking items! Like really? I worked as a shift leader for 2 years and this was just ridiculous customer service. I had a nice lady ONCE but even then the other girl was rude, didn't even say happy birthday to my mother which is fine but I mean the other girl SANG! By herself . So I went to dennys and guess what!? Full restaurant !! And I mean full! Better service but Its not hard to beat your girls there considering they were bad. Don’t you just love it when you go pick up an order and you find out that it’s not there? But that’s just that it’s not there, but that they gave it to somebody else. If the server would’ve been honest with you from the beginning, maybe I wouldn’t have been so bad, but the first server lied to me, didn’t tell me the whole story, and it wasn’t until a manager got involved that the manager told me that they gave my food away to somebody else. I had to run to a meeting that the food was for, so I had no choice, but to leave to another restaurant, and then getting a whole refund was another ordeal. I honestly think that the server did not want to accept responsibility for what had happened. Sandy, the manager, was professional and attentive, but the server should be dismissed for lack of training. Do not recommend.
