Today I went into the store to buy some merchandise. The sales person was friendly and helpful. However when I went to purchase the items she asked for my name and phone number. I said I would rather not give out all my info, I just wanted to make the purchase. I had money ready to spend. However she said she “had” to have a name or she couldn’t make the sale. I said if that is the case then I guess I can just put the merchandise back. I said thank you anyway. She said “okay” and let me walk out the door. I have no idea why they would lose a sale for not wanting to give out my name and phone number. Most boutiques just override that in the cash register and allow me to check out if I don’t want to give my info. I’m not sure why that is required to just buy a shirt and a set of hair ties. Read moreAt Molly Malone’s they only allow exchanges, which is fine. I had bought a sweater from the MM in Mooresville on a day they had 25% off almost the whole store except for new items. I went back and exchanged it for a different sweater with no problem. I have been working in hickory and the new sweater didn’t work out so I went to exchange it there. They told me I couldn’t exchanged it because it was a final sale item even though it wasn’t on the clearance rack. I understand if I wanted a refund but I was going to buy something else.
