Gold-N-Clipper — Local services in Highlands

LorieJean Duffy was locking up her store several days ago as we explored the town. We struck up a brief conversation explaining that we were on an anniversary/birthday trip. She suggested that we come back for a special surprise for our almost 11yo daughter. Of course my kid wouldn't let us forget, so after dinner last night, we went over to the Gold-n-Clipper as promised. LorieJean remembered us and gifted my daughter with her birthstone bracelet. Such a sweet gesture. Her kindness and hospitality knows no bounds because we stayed a while perusing the store and all the beautiful items they had for sale. We purchased a beautiful poncho, earrings and a turquoise jewelry set and left feeling like we were family. It's folks like LoriJeann who make me want to retire and move to Highlands, NC. The store has fine jewelry, precious stones and designer fashion, gold and silver, coins and bouillon galore. A must visit for any tourists looking for quality, affordable gifts for loved ones back home. Will be back if just to love on our new favorite...
