I have purchased from Aarons before, but this Hillsboro store, I cannot begin to express the disappointment I have experienced here. They work very hard to sell, but when it comes to customer service, they are the worse. I recently moved and asked that they take some furniture back since it didn't fit in the new place. After having an argument with "(Robert) the manager" and got nowhere regarding the merchandise. I expressed I was going to reach out to corporate and asked him for the number... he gave me the wrong number!!!! I finally googled and called and spoke with someone at corporate then got a call back from the "real store manager"(Jerry) He said returning the furniture was no problem and he would have someone schedule another pick up date, The scheduler calls and we agree that friday...Mind you I have had the furniture sitting in my living room for over 1 week... I stayed home All day Friday and they never arrived or called so I called on Saturday and (ANOTHER store manager) says it's scheduled for Monday!!! I was never told Monday!!!! And he says now- well I am the only one in the store and I cannot close it to go pick up the furniture, come drop it off if you can't wait till Monday😳.(but when I called Jackie said she had someone to pick it up today) 🤦🏻♂️
I have never had a late payment with them and I'm treated like this I can't imagine the ones that are a bit behind
1- everyone there is the store "manager" (liers) 2- they do not communicate with themselves or the client (poor communication skills) 3- they do as they please and Don't care what you say or think as a client (poor customer service skills) They all need to go to CS training 4- Overpriced!!!!!!!
I'm sure there's plenty of others stores who will appreciate my business in Hillsboro since I always make my payments on time and will have no issues when it comes to pay and if I have any issues with the merchandise they will be happy...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my experience with Aaron's. I purchased a stove online to be delivered on Apr 23rd. A week after that I get a call asking if it was delivered, no it was not and apparently never added to their schedule. She apologized and put us on the schedule for delivelry on Tuesday May7th between 12pm and 2pm Wonderful! sigh I wish that was the worst part but unfortunately it gets worse. On Tuesday May 7th we wait for the stove to be delivered, 12pm comes and goes, 1pm, 2pm 3pm and 4 pm, by 4:30 pm two and half hours passed estimated delivery time, I call and see what's going on. Apparently they no longer had any drivers employed to deliver 🙄 so we sitting at home all day waiting for a delivery that was never going to come... We scramble to find someone with a truck to help us and the only person is our uncle. Upon his arrival on May 8th to help us pick up the stove he goes in urgently needing to use the restroom and they refuse to let him and he soiled himself because they refuse to help. My uncle had to leave and was unable to help us. 😕

I went in there two weeks ago, picked out my items, paid for it all of it up front, they said they will call me with a delivery time/date. Didn't hear back the following week so I called them and they told me they didn't have the items yet and will call me when it arrives. Now two weeks later I still haven't received a call so I called them again. They couldn't even find my order information at first. They then told me that they now have it in the store but that the free delivery on their website is a lie, and they require $60 more for it. I would have liked to have had this information up front. Please notify customers when you have their items available and don't put down that you have free delivery on your website when you do not have free delivery. If I myself hadn't called them, they weren't planning on notifying me at all that my shipment that I was expecting wasn't ever going to arrive.
