We came here today to peruse. My daughter picked out a little train toy. We bring it to check out, and the lady at the register said it was $28. Okay, we talk her down to $23 (ridiculous price either way, it's a plastic train) here is the kicker: we bring it home and it is BROKEN! Which is why they hid part of the train behind the counter until you come up to pay. So, not even 3 hours later, we bring it back to return. She is extremely rude but agrees to store credit, and apparently there are "only certain things you can buy" with this "store credit" we pick out 2 things totalling $27 (when she originally tried to charge $28 - again - for a BROKEN plastic toy that is used.) She is again, extremely rude to my boyfriend and then says she has to "take a picture" of the items. She also took a picture of my boyfriend! Reading the reviews it seems like this is a racist profiling establishment. They also sell literal broken garbage and 90% of the things they sell are not antiques. I saw so many things from the brand Universal Threads, which is Target brand LOL. Do NOT come here, you're better off picking out trash...
Read moreWent to this antique mall today, June 22, 2015. I give this 5 stars out of 5. When I click to say 5 stars it reverts to only 2. I am not sure why. We loved this store. This rating system is acting up. Definitely 5 stars. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very friendly. One of them helped us find a vendor we specifically were looking for. The vendor was new and at first the lady was not sure where the booth was. We were hoping not upstairs as both my husband and I have mobility issues. It was on the first level. So we purchased the item we came for and the lady got a dolly and took it from the room up front and out on the sidewalk. Since she saw that my husband and I were disabled, hobbling along, they asked a male employee to wheel it over to our car and he very graciously helped us load it. A very good experience and we'd shop there again for sure. Saw many beautiful things but didn't have time today to stay and look around. I did notice the jewelry was particularly nice. It was locked and I'd like to see things up closer next time. I have an...
Read moreI was hesitant to post this because I dislike negative posts but I truly think it should be made aware they racially profile people at this store. I read a few reviews about it and even one person defending them but later on mention they had to give up their bag ( she had a black husband btw) but noted other shoppers didn’t because “they must’ve slipped past the front” which is simply NOT the case. Im black and have 3 mixed children and this weekend we were asked to leave our bags at the front. Obviously we handed them over at first but we couldn’t help but notice not one but 4 white women had miniature backpacks on!! What!? Not to mention we watched an older woman probably over the age of 55 slip trinkets in her purse!!!! We left immediately after watching this encounter. Shame shame shame on you for making people of color feel uncomfortable. Especially when it be ur...
