Yesterday was my first visit to Yarn Attic and I was so impressed, I had to leave a review.
Suffice to say: I will never go anywhere else for yarn again! The woman who greeted me was so welcoming and friendly; she gave me a tour around, explained how the yarn was laid out throughout the store and then she didn’t hover over me as I browsed. Thank you! That’s always uncomfortable.
SO MUCH YARN. All the yarn. They have premade little kits if you want to make one of the projects on display which include all of the yarn you need and the pattern to go with it.
The prices are a bit high but, it’s high quality yarn and pretty much equal to what you’d pay online for them, anyways. They have a whole wall of clearance yarn (which is actually in order) and a sheet hanging up with the name of yarn/price.

I had needles that were given as a gift, completely unopened, unused, and wanted to exchange for a larger size since my gift-giver didn't know I already had a size 8. I live out of state and finally made it back a few months later, and I was rudely told I could not exchange them. I was more upset by the complete disregard to how I live out state and was dismissed. What a shame - another lady had helped me in the summer and she was so sweet. I will take my business elsewhere. ...
Read moreI appreciate that the shop offers a great selection of yarn that is also reasonably priced. I've taken weekly classes with Debbie who is kind, funny and a great instructor. In my classes there are knitters with various skill levels and Debbie accommodates each of us. As most knitters know, it can be intimidating asking for help in finding new projects, selecting yarn and the details that go along with it.
