To anyone complaining about hours of operation/staffing/length of wait:
We're in the middle of a pandemic that probably crushed their staffing, especially now. What is wrong with you. Patience will go a long way, so would a little empathy.
Moving on; The last time I was here I ordered through the app at 1:57PM. The location shuttered from 2-3PM for a lunch break, presumably because they're so severely short-staffed. The app doesn't communicate with stores instantaneously, so there's a disconnect between the information the store and the app are working with, respectively, I get that. If you order online for pickup through the drive-thru, they don't make the order until you show up. Could cause problems, and did.
Trying to pick up my food, the drive-thru was closed. I was informed by an employee taking their break outside what was happening, and upon my telling them I ordered online they proceeded to go back inside and make my order during their break. It was also even a smoke break on top of the lunch break, so I felt particularly awful, didn't mean to cut their break shorter but they seemed to brush it off.
All workers deserve more money for the work they do, especially now.
Has this location forgotten to take tomatoes off a few of my orders? Yes. Have I gotten a few soggy tacos from here? Yeah. Do I modify my orders and make the employees work a little harder when I order my food? Yes, so if there is a mistake every now and then, who am I to complain. Fast food's a lot of work. The employees here(not management) do their jobs as well as they are able, no...
Read moreBeen to this Taco Bell many many times. Why? Because it's Taco Bell. Its a great "Oh no, literally nothing else is open and I'm hungry" meal. Or for an "I'm really inebriated and I want Taco Bell" kinda moment.
But seriously, if it wasn't for these moments, I'd never come here. Not because the food isn't delicious and cheap, it is. But boy would you be lucky to find the food you actually ordered in the bag when you drive away from the window. I mean seriously, the best thing to do is walk in and get your food, so you can easily go through your order and make sure they fix everything they got wrong. Because they definitely got things wrong, it's just a question of how many things. Besides, it's not like the drive through is any faster. You're going to be sitting at the window for at least 5-6 minutes. Even if you ordered ahead.
If you were unfortunate enough to DoorDash it, just expect to get a mystery package. Were the fries you ordered there? Did they manage to put beef in your crunchwrap despite them asking 5 minutes ago "You did say chicken right?" Probably. And the two girls yelling at each other to be quiet so they can hear people at the drive through; the guy with eyes so red it's amazing he's not talking to the static coming through his headphones? Yeah, that's probably the reason for the magic 8 ball that is this Taco Bell.
So if you have literally any other option, and you're seriously reading this novel of review to determine if this is the right choice for you, well then All...
Read moreThis is my first time ever leaving a google review on any restaurant but this place has gotten worse and worse with each passing month. If i had to summarize this location it would be that the hours of operation are just a suggestion and if you have specific things youd like to change about menu options they MIGHT follow the directions it depends on who is working at the time. Frankly the employees dont care to even show up at listed opening hours and often close hours earlier than the listed closing time, they dont care to follow specific food instructions and they continually change their hours of operation on nearly a monthly basis. They keep the dining area locked forcing every costumer to go through the drive thru but more often than not itll 30+ minutes to get your food and that time only gets longer after 7pm. It seems that there night/evening shift only consists of 2-3 individuals because of the sheer amount of time it takes to get through the drive thru. They also consistently shut off their mobile ordering service several hours prior to their listed closing time. Although they are usually kind and respectful the level of service between this location and the next nearest location in somerville is like night and day. You’d be better off putting in the extra 20 minutes to drive to somerville because you’ll waste at least that much time waiting in line at this location. Picture taken after 45...
