A dear old friend ordered a delicate platter to be mailed to my home. Unfortunately it arrived with a break, even though it was marked fragile. A call to customer service was answered politely and very quickly considering it is December. They immediately identified that to redeliver another platter would take months. I worried it might be discontinued in the meantime. They checked Inventory at stores near our home. I decided to drive and make the exchange in person. Upon presentation to Kaley, I could feel she felt badly when they no longer had the platter so she called other stores until she found one that could be mailed directly and quickly to us. Anna in yet a third store processed an exchange and Andrea wrapped it so carefully for us and I received the gift in perfect shape just 4 days later. Anthropologie customer service is filled with caring people that step up when outcomes donāt match their intentions. They learn from otherās mistakes and are great listeners. Iāll spare you the specifics, but the sales associate and manager were indifferent and even passive aggressive when I brought up an issue I was having. Iām not a fan of capitalism and the power dynamic it creates between the ābuyerā and the āsellerā however I do think that customers should be treated with care and taken seriously⦠we received much better service in every other derby street shop!!!

Dropped by with my wife and had the displeasure of being served by a rude store representative. 1 other customer in store, totally blanked us to finish her conversation with said customer for a few minutes and then couldnāt muster the strength to say āHelloā.
